    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I saw a add for some snakes that I would like to purchase but figures i would check here first. I did the search and found nothing under "first choice reptiles".

well i just read that thread..

Well after reading through that thread I will try to find what i am looking for somewhere else, damn.. he had some good prices too. But then again i probably would have got stiffed anyway. Back to the classified to find another persion to buy red tailed green rat snakes from.

I can say that I deal with Nick @ firstchoice reptiles on a daily basis and I have never had any problems with any animals I have ever bought from him. He is a good reliable guy that provides quality reptiles. Do not hesitate to buy from him. The people who have posted negative posts about him must have been problematic customers or something. Nick is a great guy and a great resource for quality reptiles. Thanx Nick,

I posted about First Choice the first time around with my situation. As I also stated I have always had a great bussiness relantionship with Nick. I didn't just get into this hobby yesterday and I understand sometimes things come up which can't be controlled.
With the above being said I don't see why I wouldn't deal with Nick again in the future. It is hard to find someone in the Chameleon business who puts the time and effort into the animals.

I just got some red tailed ratsnakes from them - they were in great shape.

Are they in good shape and feeding? How was he to deal with? What was your overall impression of him and his business?
I thought I would ask because I hate to loose money for no reason and the B.O.I. is usually right when it comes to good/guy bad/guy reputations of people.
 
well, as I said - they were in great shape. And since I just got them, I haven't attempted feeding yet.
 
I forgot to mention that Nick responded to my emails quickly, was upfront about everything, and really tried to make everything go smoothly (it did). Based on my (single) experience with him, I would say go for it.

Can you post some pics of the animals you received from him? Sorry to keep bothering you but I am borderline on which way to go right now because i really want a nice pair of red tail green rats but dont want to loose my money. I will probably take the chance . I will haunt him to the ends of the earth though if I get screwed, or i will post a good guy thread on him if it goes the other way.
 
doesn't matter now anyway - I just talked to him about getting another pair (I was that pleased with them) and he is all out. good luck on your search

Nick Mole *First Choice Reptiles* Bad Guy!!

Lets Just Say Nick Mole Is A Young And Not Very Smart.

I Bought A Pair Of Sub-adult Argentine Rainbow Boas From Him Back In May.

He Was Asking $250.00 Plus Shipping Costs. I Talked Him Down To $200.00 Plus Shipping.

He Then Told Me Dhl Would Send Me A Bill In The Mail For The Shipping Charges. I Said I Would Rather Just Include Shipping Costs In Your Payment. So He Said To Make It $240.00 Shipped. I Said Great.
Sent Him The Money Through Paypal On May 8th At 11:30pm When I Returned Home From Work. I Did Not Get My Rainbows Until May 23rd. He Would Never Return My Phone Calls And Would Never Answer The Phone Either. He Shipped Them With Horrible Packaging And With Filthy Snake Bags. Dried Up Poop All Over The Inside Of The Bag.

I Later Fed Them They Both Refused To Eat. Finally Three Days After I Fed Them The Female Threw Up The Mouse. Male Later Did The Same Thing.

Anyway When I Sent Him The $240.00 We Aggreed To. I Received A Bill For $48.56 For The Shipping Charges. He Never Payed For The Shipping Costs.

And Will Not Return My Money Either.

Do Not Deal With This Young Confused Man.
