    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is there a morph/het that's 'shiny'?

This may seem like a dumb/weird question, but its something that has been on my mind...

You know baby ball pythons in their first few days of life have that very shinny look to them? Well is there any morph or het for a morph that would keep that through the snakes life? Pretty much as if they were always wet, or covered in oil...

I ask because i got two snakes from a friend who rescued them out of a house in foreclosure. Both are adult 1000g+ males and were under weight when they came in. One male is a pastel, and the other is 'shiny'. I have had them since the beginning of December. I got them both fattened up that month and by January they were breeding. I just have this feeling that it could be something special because they guy must have spent some money on the pastel too.

yes, i know i know i will take a few in a little bit... here is a crappy one

i have seen some "shiny" balls but these usually look sick, or the freshly imported ones they put up for sale with nix on them sometimes have a shine to help kill mites and ticks.

Only in America show with Larry the cable guy had a vudo priest that had a Pied around his neck that was real shinny looked weird but I know what your saying maybe they get like that in a dehydrated condition??

ahhh i see. Well maybe this would be the case... these guys were abandoned for who knows how long, and they person who took them in didn't really know what he was doing, hence the reason he gave them up to me.

However, they have both been in my care since the beginning of Dec only one snake (the 'normal') has this. The pastel defiantly doesn't, and the both of them feed and are quite healthy...
