    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

wow, it was sold to me as just a hypo tang. what makes it super hypo?
what would be a good price for a shct? i think it is in shed so you cant see the tang as much. if i bred that to a normal could i get Carot tails? or would they just be het carot tail ( i am not sure if it is a gene or selectively bred)
 
When dealing with selectively bred mutations, the more you outcross, the less the look you are looking for will appear. If you had an outstanding Carrottail specimen I wouldn't be worried about outcrossing, but yours I would not outcross to a Normal unless you didn't mind the offspring having a low grade or no carrottail.

A hypo has a few spots on the body, a super hypo has none....

It depends on the level of carroting, body color, and amount of head spots.... The one you posted would go anywhere from $100 to $125

You will most likely get animals that range from normalish to hypoish... The carrot tails would be low grade if there at all... Carrot tail genetics are not recessive so there is no such thing as "het" for carrot tail.... It is a selectively bred trait.....
 
WEll the only female i have big enought to breed is a normal so i guess i will just see what i get, it is going to shed soon so you think it could be tang too? i got it for $50 ( all the other had no carrot tail, and this was the calmiest so i picked him) how could that babies be hypoish? i thought it was a genetic trait?
 
whered u buy that leo from, I have a female that looks just like it from albey, its original price was $600 (overpriced much?) but i only got her when he had that huge sale last year, i have some of her eggs cooking right now as a matter of fact
 
I can not remember the guys name, he was at the hamburg show but he was all out of cards, how much did you end up getting yours for? I think for 50 i got a good price!
