• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is This A Scam! Please Help?

Is this a scam?

It is yet another scam

That answer your question. Look at the way it is written, like a form letter where the fill in the item you have for sale.

Now you could do like I do and write back stating how you intend to mutilate them or just junk it.

Yes, and there are a few other threads below yours you can read; the emails they received are probably identical to yours...

BCFOS** Thanks for the fast reply

Here is the reply that I sent back to them:

I only take cash, I DO NOT ship! These pups mean alot to me and I would
rather match the owner with the pup that best suits the owners personality.

Thanks Anyway

Hopefully they don't keep harassing me.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Anytime, just be sure to always check the way such emails are written. If they seem to be in a form letter chances are it is a scam.

Another one it seems

It seems the BOI is rapidly developing into a "Nigerian scam email notice board."

Everyone is posting about these emails.

Hopefully no one is falling for these emails.

IT IS A SCAM!!

I had someone offer to buy one of my snakes for sale. Almost the same arrangement. They sent me a forged cashier's check for $7000 asking me to take my $2300 and send the rest to a friend so they can pay the shipper in the states as they were out of state.

Trust me. I knew it was bogus. I did not send an animal and the authorities have the original email trail, the forged check, the address the remaining money was to be wired to.

If it sounds strange or too good to be true...it is.

It won't be long.....

It won't be long before newspaper ads are targets for these scams if they aren't already.
