    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry is usark scamming the reptile industry

the big boy breeders (as some of the above mentioned) wont come on here because of the constant crap and bickering back and forth that goes on on these (and many other) forums, as well all the social websites. I dont see bob, kevin, jay, mike, the jasons, gavin, and any others comin on here to express their view, feeling, thoughts and plans of actions. its a constant game of person a posting something, person b rippin on person a, person a retaliating, a person c jumps in on it, person a retaliates to both of them, person d jumps into defend person a, and just goes on and on and on. why not let this be the last post here and lets all do something constructive and positive towards getting our hobby back
 
Ryan you are a voice of reason and sanity , which will not be tolerated here ..........just kidding .......I to remember a time when , our industry was far more honorable than now, I have been wrong b4 but, but your are 100 percent right,inclusion creates disclusion destroys .Moderators I hope you r paid well.
 
If I need to go all heavy handed and ban EVERYONE who thinks that this site is here strictly as their very own personal pissing match arena, I certainly can do that. So cut the bickering please and at least TRY to appear professional.
 
as rich said, lets stop the bickering and rippin on each other and try to have all of us get together to bring this back to our side, WE THE PEOPLE, who for now still have some rights. now, all in all, do i think and feel usark is scamming me or my fellow hobbyists ?? as of right now, i do not. i feel they truly do care about reptiles and our rights as keepers/breeders/hobbyists. the problem is that they are the only real group going to the hearings and meetings and Washington DC, so they are naturally targeted by not only the anti-snake keepers who want this full ban to happen, but also by fellow hobbyists and such who may feel that we are losing and there is no one else for those people to feel they can blame, except an organization that in their eyes are failing.
as said a few pages back, im always on guard with my rights and where my money goes that i give to organizations to fight for what i believe in, but until i get true conslusive beyond a shadow of a doubt reason to suspect usark is doing my and my fellow keepers/hobbyists wrong, i will stick with them
 
The bottom line is Andrew and USARK are doing something while the rest sit around and complain on how they could do a better job. People need to stop complaining and either step up and do a better job as they so put it or join with the rest of us to make a difference with the things that are already being done. So many people bash Andrew because of they say he is throwing big snakes and hots under the bus. He only wanted a permiting system because he obviously saw the alternative wich is what we have right now and obviously this outcome is 10x worse because it could cripple this hobby and many people in it. So put the tape measures away and join together to protect our rights.

seriously now you say something. i went 45 pages without really saying much back to these people and on page 46 i say something and then you come in and say stop. herpvenue has been attacking me the whole thread twisting everything i say and andy came in and added nothing to the thread. only attacked me and i finally said something back and now its a problem.

so heres some really bad news i just found out today. you know the science that usark said they had and were using to show that we are correct about the burms and so on. guess what. it most likely hold up in court. if you guys dont believe then make some of those phone calls i told you to make.

that was the one thing i thought usark actually did right and guess what we have nothing. we have no real empirical data to back up our claims. we are in a lot more trouble than i thought

I noticed that Rodney is banned. Is this a cumulative points thing or did we just get sick of listening to his insane conspiracy theory drivel?

He continued to be abusive towards other members, and his latest infraction pushed him to the level whereby he is banned for 1 year. Unfortunate, as he did provide some lively discussion, but there was just too much negative baggage associated with his side of the discussion that was not conducive to the atmosphere I want to encourage on this site.

It is clear by these statements & comments that you have no idea what USARK is doing. They & members in great numbers have been at every state court case representing people's individual rights to own & keep reptiles.
There are a lot of corrupt laws being bought & funded by USUS (Humane Society if US) trying to ban all exotics. They spend millions on their 400 top paid lawyers & lobbyists.
Many people in the reptile industry, like myself, have been pulling together what we can & USARK had been fighting for your rights. Our rights.
Many laws have been passed already. USARK has been there fighting it every step of the way.
We need to work together & support USARK, not divide.
Divide & conquer. That's what HSUS wants. And then no one will be able to have any reptiles.
