    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry is usark scamming the reptile industry

Her point is that your retics, the discussion about the alligator, and most of the comments about Terry are not relevant to this thread.

lets start from the begginning. What is the first issue of yours?

The fact that USARK writes legislation for other states?
We have discussed this issue. They do not propose the legislation unless as a last resort.

Other issue. You say there are other ways besides legislation.
We have discussed this issue. They do education and such and testify at hearings and committees.

Other issue. You say we should organize locally.
Well then why do you want Terry to represent me? he has trouble with local regulations in ohio. But yet you want him to represent me in Arizona?

What was your other issue? The financial?
It has been pointed out that the financial aspect is actually quite reasonable. Then you decided to say the finances is not an issue at all.

What is the other issues?

You see rodney. We discuss the issues. But everytime you get proven wrong you move on to another issue and we dance around all the same issues in circles.

Perhaps you have a memory problem. Read this thread of yours from start to finish in one sitting. Perhaps you can do it quickly enough to actually remember that the issues has already been discussed here and your numerous other threads.

If you don't like him. Then chose another representative to represent YOU. You do not like his model legislation? Then go write your own. No one is stopping you. Who chose him and USARK to represent the reptile industry? Everyone who choses to send money his way.

I am by no means, "the BOI's voice of reason". Those would be the admins. I am actually quite the opposite. But please. If you would like to discuss me, then please take it to a thread about me. Or perhaps you can start an inquiry thread about me.

Rodney, you really need to learn to use a computer. I searched "HerpVenue" into the search engine on here, guess what? Two pages. Two pages with one negative BOI review that I saw which turned to be not really a negative BOI at all. So you should watch what you say before dragging people's names through the mud like that.
 
So, after reading all 25 pages of this, I felt the need to say something, otherwise the migrane I've aquired will be in vain... This post is about whether or not USARK is scamming people. The OP has failed to provide any actual evidence of that. I would certainly hope that the money I've donated goes to pay for lobbiests! After all, that is exactly where they say it's going. How is that a scam? As far as the amount they spend going to shows, if they didn't I wouldn't have had the opportunity to get to know Andrew a bit over the last couple of years. It seems that the whole point of this is to start a smeer campaign in an attempt to get people to endorce this Terry person, who coincedentally I'd never heard of until reading a negative BOI post on him just prior to trying to decifer this mess. The bottom line here is that your state laws aren't going to matter in the slightest if they manage to institute a federal ban. Just so we are clear, that would be a NATIONAL ban. Since I don't have the time or the money to fight Washington myself, I am grateful that there is an organization out there that is at least trying to protect the hobby I love. I find it funny that someone would come on here and try to argue FL law with someone who lives there. I was aware of the changes and how challenging they have made it for those who breed animals on the concerned species list. I'm sure they would have been grateful for the same laws NC has right now, at least they wouldn't have to drive out of state to vend at shows. Since I don't see any other major organizations jumping up and down to make us heard, I'll continue to support USARK, because quite honestly if my only chioces for representation are Andrew or a guy that lets an alligator wander around his shop, Andrew wins hands down!
 
rodney is right who is andrew wyatt ive worked with several aquariums and zoo s never heard of him hope he hasnt heard of me Idealt with PETA at miami seaquarium 20 years ago my main interests are venemous which ive kept for 12 years now. mostly in FLA which created this industry again rodney is right as I am one of those people in the NEW organization having worked at marineland a 501 c3 Iknow alot about raising money testified at 2 hearings in fla about keeping hots glad to do it again robert siders

dude these people are the reptile internet generation and thats it. they didnt start out going to shows and stuff. all they know about it is what they read on forums like this one. its a total joke that herpvenue couldnt even identify a pic of an amercian alligator. he called it a croc.

i just read his little bio on here. hes only been keeping reptiles since 1997 1998.

im guessing hes a big nobody in the reptile community.

dont waste your time arguing with him. im done after i ran his name in a search on the boi homepage. 8 pages of him running his mouth in threads and causing problems. heres the link

the reason they dont know who terry is because he not all over the internet like andrew and remember thats all they know.

i will bet anyone on here by the end of this year andrew wyatt will be out of usark.

the whole point of me starting this thread is to bring attention to the way usark is doing thing and the need for more transparency them or for any organization that claims to represent a large group of people.

it has to do with terry knowing more about fighting these regulations then just about everyone else in the industry.

terry spent over $100,000 of his own money fighting. andrew wyatt spent everyone elses money fighting to push model legislation
