Put your money where you're mouth is. I personally invite you to be there, to show your support. Get a presentation together and talk to the big names, in the industry, about your ideas.

March 17th & 18th in Tinley Park. Mike Wilbanks, Andrew Wyatt, A Rep from PIJAC, Jeff Barringer, Dave Barker, Bill Brant etc. They're all going to be attending, to show support and rally the troops, to get this ban overturned.

They were taken off the list because no evidence can even come close to them moving anywhere besides there. I do think that estate is the only place they even have a chance to hold a population in the entire US. And it took a huge decline a few winters ago when it actually got cold. Boas are not as hardy as pythons from my own observations/opinion, and require much more specific climates to survive. Anyways there isnt a huge deal about boas because they cant become the "20 ft monsters thatll eat ur children" This law wasnt made because of the enviroment, It was made based on peoples fear of the big ones. Notice how the two out of three big species, burms and anacondas, got bumped and not the retic. There isnt an established population of retics in the glades, and when normal (non-herp) people think of largest snake in the world, first thing they think of is the anaconda. Which technically they are right. Burms got it for the "dangers to the enviroment" and anacondas got it for their "dangerous size." And we all know that rock pythons have a nasty, or aggressive demeanor to begin with, and that of course will scare the general population. Tho im sure there are a few sweet hearts out there that are puppy dog tame, but the general consensus is that they can be a handful. This is of course my opinion and how I see things.

To be quite blunt with you, how would it makes sense for Andrew to purposefully push the retics and boas off just to screw the burm people? Im sure that some of his retic customers own burms and if they cant sell their now outlawed snakes, how will they have the money to buy his legal ones. I honestly think u just wanna grip about something because u didnt have it your way and wanna put blame on someone easy to blame.

I think we can perhaps let this thread die down. The OP claimed USARK was scamming. But yet he fails or refuses to provide proof of the scam. Just my opinion.

Lawsuits aren't cheap...and when one side has what is essentially "unlimited resources", you can bet that it is going to cost the opposition dearly (if they run out of money, it can be Game Over)

You may not like USARK, but unfortunately $150,000 dollars to "start" a lawsuit isn't going to get raised by any other reptile organization and even if someone out of nowhere could raise that kind of money would they even know where to start navigating a case like this?

Take your choice:
A. Do nothing and let the bill go into affect
B. Join USARK and donate to let them try and fight this
C. Join rodney in ranting and raving to other herp people about how bad USARK is (ultimately option A, but you'll get a huge post count boost!)

Even though it would have little affect on me personally at this point I'm going with Option B.

Another one that can't read. There was no compromising with the FWS and the Department of Interior. We were fighting the Rule in its entirety. Were do these guys get their information from? Sheesh

As far as contating legislators in your state. Are you refferring to the ban by FWS and Department of Interior? Or are you referring to another ban that is forthcoming in Ohio? Those are two separate things. The ban referrencing the Lacey Act is done with. You can call anyone you want and it will no longer make a difference at this point.

Now let us discuss this thing that you say USARK threw us under the bus. I appreciate your comments. But can you corraborate your claim? Are are you another Rodney? Hurl some mud and run away.
