In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It's Got To Go!

I have a very lovely 3' ball python. It belonged to my son but he can't take it to college.
It's about 2 years old, 3' in length (approx). eats 2 medium mice every couple of weeks.
It has a large tank, cover, cover clips, water bowl, hollow rock it likes to sleep in, under tank heater, double light that sits on top of the cover, and maybe a couple of other small items.
It's located in South Jersey and I will deliver it (within an hour drive) from my location.
There are some photos of the animal here:

I'd like to get $250 for everything but I'll consider all reasonable offers as I don't want to take care of it when he leaves for college.
e-mail me for info or to make an offer at: [email protected]

I think he was referring to the apple with the bite out of it in the photos with the snake. ;)

Nice photos BTW.

I think it is a bit more metaphoric than just color. You know, the whole Garden of Eden thing. They are nice pics.

Metaphor

Actually the whole set of photographs was for a metaphor on Sin, Temptation, Wrestleing with Sin.
In case anyone wants to photograph their snake, the best way I've found (so far) is to use a cool surface and warm up the area where you want the critter to be. They apparently don't like to be prodded into place.
Since I'm not really into snakes - what is a fair price for everything -
The snake, the tank (large I think it's a 15 or 20 gallon), screen, heater, lights, bowls, rock, and some odds & ends.
The local pet store said they would take the snake (and just the snake) but they don't pay for them. I think we paid $90 when we got him (her? How do you even check?)

About the only way to know what he/she/it is is to have some one probe it, once it's past the hatchling stage. As for price, add up what you paid for it, go into your "Ebay" mentality, and figure out what you would be willing to take as opposed to pay, and split the difference. My feeling is that this was a very well cared for pet, and the main motivation is to find a good home, Yes?
Good luck to ya!
