• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

It's really a shame that these can't breed

Females either slug out or die when gravid.
Best not to breed them.
They do make stunning pets though.
 
Man, and I really wanted to get into the Desert gene... IMO almost all of the desert combos that have been produced are fantastic but with the problems in the females there really isn't a point, at least not to me, to get into the gene anymore. But either way That is a great looking Desert Spider!!
 
Maybe messing with the incubation temps to try and hatch all male babies when dealing with the desert gene..Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to recall reading something about when the babies are incubated at slightly higher temps the clutch tends to be predominantly female/male (whichever one it was) or vice versa, slightly lower temps. I think maybe I saw this with sea turtles or something along those lines..been a while.

Beautiful snake I have a Desert-Mojave female that will only be a pet for me and she is also a stunner.
 
I feel so sorry for all of those who will not touch a beautiful snake because it wont make them money. I still think my desert mojave female is one of my favorite snakes. Beautiful snake, deserts make other snakes so much nicer.
