1- In all the pics ive seen the hognose look to have rough-ish bumby scales. Is that just the look or do they actually feel like that?
2- Do all hognose do that "cobra" hood type thing ive seen?
3- What is the largest specie of hognose?
4- I know there rear-fanged(atleast i think i know that?) witch is for eating frogs and such i think? If thats all correct. than do they eat rodents, or would i have to feed them frogs?
5- Are there any type of hognose with a more toxic bite than others?
What i hope u guys tell me is...
yes they feel like that, yes they do the cobra hood thing, they can get between 6 and 8 feet, and yes they eat rodents. oh and no none have a truly harmfull bite.
I have plenty of reps but know nothing of hognose. and ive done a bunch of research with good old Google searches. but i find you guys who own these snakes a MUCH better source.

They definitely don't feel smooth like some other species, they have texture, but I don't think it's anything extremely noticeable. Nothing like sandpaper that could cause discomfort when handling them. Try to feel some other snakes with keeled scales if you want an idea.
