    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm a big confused here guys and hope to get some help from ya'all!

I deal mainly in snakes, lizards, frogs and aquatic turtles. I haven't even kept up with the sulcata market. I had someone want to trade a Sulcata for one of my more expensive snakes. The sulcata was a bit dirty and it seemed to be a fair trade but as I was cleaning it down, the pictures will show what I found.

I haven't seen any on the market that look like this except for Ivory tortoise. I called them, we talked, I sent him some pictures and now it's been 2 days and I haven't heard anything from them. It isn't an albino because it's eyes aren't red. Ivory tortoises eyes color change and can be a couple different colors. This is confusing :slamit: :toiletcla :ack2:

I have also checked around on bigger tortoise breeder pages and searched the net for any missing or stolen Ivory tortoises and have came up with nothing.

Did I get lucky? Is this just a pretty sulcata? If it is a Ivory I will have it vet checked and priced to sell, I'd rather it be in the hands of an experienced sulcata person.

Any info or help would be great.

if not maybe its a luecy.. from my understanding their like albinos with blue eyes

I don't know man, I can't really tell because of the flash/lighting. You are going to have to back the camera up and turn off the flash and try doing it in daylight so it comes out really clear.

I'm no professional on sulcatas, but in my opinion I'd say no on him/her being an ivory. But on that note, that is one very good looking sulcata, georgeous beauty. I wouldn't take my word for it, but just thought I'd give my input.

go to tortoise keepers on the yahoo groups site. its a great resource. also, try contacting Richard (fife) again on what it is. He is an asset to this community.

I'm with Nero557. You've got one good looking sulcata. It seems all of us are saying about the same. If you felt you got a good deal then who are we to argue?

New to the community and looking for a good start with a new Sulcata; Please give input to one who is Iguana capable and savvy!
