    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well, Dustin, you asked him if you did or didn't. According to him, you did not call him 10 times trying to see what was going on. In fact, according to Shane, you called him once and then disappeared.

What's going on with John (flackjacketman)? What did you work out with him?

I neglected no one. I was under the impression that all the snakes would be gone with the deals we were making.

not to be mean and not that i have had any dealings with you good or bad but right not your guarantee doesnt mean much. i mean its like a man in a prison wearing a prison uniform saying he's not an inmate. all these people that you are saying you have called are saying you haven't and we could be a little more understanding if it was only 1 that had this problem with you but its been a few that has had this problem so right now you are pretty much the person in prison wearing the prison uniform thats saying your not an inmate, noone is going to believe you. show us some proof of who you are, post your state drivers lics or id cause we still dont really know who you are. how about get some video footage of your collection with you in the video with them cause we still dont believe you have what you are claiming to be selling. like i said, i havent done any business with you so i cant give my exp dealing with you but i know i wont do business with anyone in the red and as far as emailing people that veiwed and posted on this tread telling them that everything is fixed now, that is wrong for you to do and you should be paying more attention fixing the problems to the ones your screwed over than others that they are trying to give the heads up to. you are pretty much just :shootfoot . i think maybe you need to learn how to do business before you start doing business. i was raised that your word should be better than any payment could ever be, a hand shake is a binding contract, and the only thing that a man can never take away from you is your honor through your word and a hand shake. as far as you go my friend your honor gauge is below empty. i hope you can get yourself back on the right track but your respect here is gone

you know i just noticed what he said about the guy in N.C. .... i just looked through the whole thread again just to make sure and the only guy that has posted from NC is me and i've never dealt with him before hmmmmmm Dustin is there someone you ripped off that you are not telling us about??? that make me wonder even more :shrug01:
 
There will be a status when work pics up and I get paid. Then I will ship. And "strikeforce" needs to stop with the threats. Everyone knows my name. And I didnt know i needed to explain why I want a membership on this site. It could be for a number of reasons. Buy snakes, sell snakes, or interact with people. If you want to threaten me then dont message me. And honestly strikeforce. Everyone knows who I am. If you think im someone else then please let me know b/c id like to know who I am lol Thumbs up!

wow, actually I got to agree with him here, you guys are being a little ridiculous, he is trying and saying he is trying at least give him the benefit of the doubt. I will post when I get my shipment from him. I have not paid him money, but have agree to post on the boi when the reptiles get here and then I would send him the money. He has paid back Scott. Seriously people just lighten up you all sound like a bunch of school girls putting down the newbie. I am not condoning what has happend or saying it was exceptable, but who gave you gods finger to point at who you think is bad. Point is he sent the money back, transactions have not gone through for the retics for whet ever reason, and I am not saying they are legit or not, but so far no one has lost money, only one person here had a scare and felt their time was actually wasted. If you didn't get the 22 foot retic so what!!! You didn't lose any money your time really wasn't wasted unless you call a 10 minute call and the 2 minutes it took to respond to a post a true waste of you life, then I would be concerned about your mental state. I use the boi all the time, but point being is that every one makes mistakes, some make a few more than others, but you cant go around on here say everytime. Make a judgement after I get my conda and retic form him, till then quit acting like a bunch of man babies!!!!

Dustin - No one has any right to threaten you. If you are being threatened via pm, please report it to Webslave, and he will take care of it. There is a little exclamation point icon for this very purpose. Also, thank you for clarifying the status of your deal with John.

John - I have no dog in this fight. At the same time, there were more than a couple red flags that went up and led to this thread. I asked about your deal to see if Dustin was indeed making good on what you had arranged.

I feel that active Fauna members have a responsibility to keep an eye on what's going on before someone gets ripped off. If that means holding someone's feet to the fire after he posts under aliases(not nickmames), asks for animals despite having to sell his stuff because he can't have them, not shipping as agreed upon or contacting buyer, or seemingly trying to avoid deals that require meeting up in person, so be it. I don't think I've been needlessly rude or petty in any of my posts, and I believe if more people are proactive we can avoid more scammers in the future.
 
# 1 i am not threatening you, this was not a threat but i warning that 1 will not stand by and watch others get scammed and i will be contacting local law enforcement and FBI since the scams are across state lines. just incase other would like to know what was writen in the pms i will be glad to post them for everyone to read, its no secret and i know most of you if not all of you will agree in the way this was handled.

this is what he wrote to me before even though i never had any contact with him at all, i just posted on here with my thoughts on how we could control scams a little better

hi again, i have not yet recieved a response from you about who you really are and your collection. others may be satified about getting their money back but i am not satified about these scams being done and i believe scammer should be put in prison. if you do not come clean to everyone on fuana about who you are and about your true reason for being on here i will let everyone know everything i found out about you including your address and your criminal record. i just want everyone that does business on fuana to have a good experience and not get scammed by people like you so either you come clean and tell them yourself or i will do it. thank you and have a great day

this is the email i sent him that he says is a threatening email. i think it is very clearly not threatening. by law i am required to give out information known about a scammer so others will not get scammed.

Don't file charges! Our hobby does not need the publicity, especially if you were not directly affected. Also, while there is the appearance of attempted wrongdoing, there is no proof that Dustin has actually successfully scammed anyone. This thread was started as a preventative measure, and I think it has served its purpose.

Ayone else feel free to chime in if you don't agree.

ok lets take a vote on me filing charges. if yes i will file tomorrow if no i will not file but he needs to be out of the forum. we all know he was scamming people and it dont matter if he was successful or not, the next scam he could get someone that dont know how to handle it. it is my fight because in this business it is my job to buy and sell reptiles to customers and treat everyone with respect and to do those thing you have to also look out for them as well.

That's fine, but what exactly will the charge be? I actually prefer he stays here on Fauna. Most other sites don't have the oversight to prevent scams. Here, we can keep tabs on him and make sure he's doing the right thing...that is as long as the BOI is being funded...hint, hint.
 
I agree with mikes post dont file charges. He was caught this time before he could actually scam some one he tried with the guy that sent him the money and then this thread came up and he got scared. Now what he will do is probably try to rethink of different ways to scam people. IM sure this wont be the last time we see his name come up.
 
well i have thought long an hard about it while making a delivery and i am not going to file anything or report anything. i also will not be part of a site that lets people scam people without conciquinses so i will be closing my account here. just because he got caught does not mean he will not do this to others and by letting it go everyone willing to let it go becomes just as morally guilty as him and i will have no part in it. good luck with your dealings and good day

I've tried to file in the past. Unless you have all of you documentation in order to show how you were scammed by this person, it is not possible. All it will do is ruffle the feathers of law enforcement. Mr. Barbour, do you have all of the records regarding your dealings with this person? If so, please file.

Lastly, I encourage anyone that was scammed and has proof of wrongdoing to notify the proper authorities.
