Steve.......Stevarino.......The Steve meister.........whatever your last name is....BTW, those ARE still the rules while they're being discussed.....FULL NAME.
Now, to address your points......one in particular.
"what does he need to do spend all his profits so the small vendors will be happy"
He IS the PROMOTER right?<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>? isn't that EXACTLY what he's supposed to be doing. I know this because I promote a local show as well....if the vendors aren't happy, they won't come back. If they don't come back, customers wont' come.....if customers won't come, then YOU HAVE NO PROFITS.
The entire point of a promoters job is to make sure that the shows are worthwhile for the vendors. So YES, he's supposed to spend his profits (not ALL) to make the "small vendors" happy. After all, without the small vendors, there wouldn't be much of a show now would there.
The impression I get from your defense of Wayne is that he is in this for the bucks. He doesn't give a rats ass what happens to the vendors, the customers OR the animals. You wanna know how far I went to fill a room....I droppped our table prices down to $25 each......That has GOT to be the lowest price show in the country. The reason I did it....to get MORE vendors to come to make the whole day MORE enjoyable for the customers. The more customers I get, the more the vendors sell, the more the vendors sell, the more vendors I get, the more vendors I get, the more customers I get......sounds like Mr. Hill needs to learn from this mistake. I'm sure if I met him, my perception might be different than the impression you give, but the man HAS to be good with the vendors if he expects to make his oh so important buck.
Just my thoughts
