• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I have been considering a transaction with this guy and I really dont know him. He is out of Tampa, FL and I have seen him working with Dave Lawson at some of the Tampa shows. If anyone has had good/bad business with this guy please help me out.

I usually don't post if someone doesn't put their full name down.... but, in this case, I'll make an exception....

I've known Jake Tyner for about 2-3 years now, he's basically, a blonde-haired mini mountain!! BIG!! lol Really nice guy and a good friend! I have never known him to be anything but honest with me and we've done a couple of things together over the years.... if I'm not mistaken, he met his girlfriend in my store.... I don't know what you're planning to do with him, but, unless he's changed drastically over the last month or so.... I'd trust him....

You will not have any trouble with Jake. I have known him for a couple of years and I concider him a good friend. I have never heard any one complain about his buisness ethics or the health of his animals. He has worked some shows with me in the past and in the future he will work more.

    Jake Tyner??? Are you kidding me? Whatever you do dont do business with that guy, he's a real JERK. Hes one of those tatooed
low-life, "snake in the grass" types out to take your money and send you a few dead ball pythons. Avoid Jake Tyner at all costs!

Jake is probably one of the most trustworthy, honest and overall nice guys in the whole tampa reptile community.  All of his animals are in top notch condition, and he knows his stuff.  I have done business with him on multiple occasions concerning some boas, and everything went off without a hitch.  I recommend his business to everyone, because you won't be let down.
