• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi, my name is Ashlei Wood and I'm warning you NOT to do ANY dealings with JAMES BROWN from WOODBURY (SAINT PAUL), MN. :NoNo:

I had recently been searching to acquire a pied ball python and James had conveniently listed one up on CL (not my first choice of websites to look for pets, but his price was ridiculously cheap). Upon first inspection of the snake, I found nothing wrong. However, less than a week later it was showing severe symptoms of Respiratory issues. Fortunately, I was able to get the snake to a vet and get him all fixed up.

I have heard from other local reptile enthusiasts that they either know someone or have had personal dealings with this guy and they have NOTHING good to say about the health of his animals. I have only seen him post on Craigslist, but he appears to be a flipper/breeder of snakes and the health of them is mediocre at best.

:( I mostly feel bad for the animals, but it is just nasty to knowingly sell a sick snake to someone without informing them.

If you have any other feedback or screenshots of conversations with this guy, please share!

Talk about trying to ride the line of the rule against anonymous third party quotation. If you want to use what you have heard from other local reptile enthusiasts, identify them (by name). If not, don't bring it up.

I apologize, but they didn't allow me to use their names for fear of retaliation from James and his friends. :shrug01: I just wanted to share that I'm not the only MN snake lover that has had bad experiences with him. Sorry.
