    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy James McGhee, 1060 Exotics

way to keep your chin up james.. ive known him for a long time, and like me hes been shafted more than we care to remember. hes a great guy, with awesome animals and would be one of the first ones i go to if i were into bloods..

Very calm, curious girl. She loved watching the fish and as strange as it seems she loved to climb (though she was not very good at it)...

This sounds like you were handling the non-feeding snake.

I didn't make this thread to get my husbandry snarked at.

It's been stated already but it seems your husbandry is the "culprit" to the snake's demise. We aren't here to "snark" at you. Hopefully show you an error you have made in hopes you can rectify it if you choose to pursue keeping blood pythons.

I spend time with all of them daily.

This kind of says you were handling this non-feeding snake on a regular basis.Which you also seem to have stated in the beginning of your post. As already mentioned in this thread, blood pythons aren't like other species of snakes. They will not eat unless everything is just right in their enclosure.

Mr McGhee does not appear to be a "bad guy" but he did send out the wrong snake. Mistakes happen, but if he sent out the right snake maybe all this could've been avoided. :shrug01:

A few months I recieved a baby snake that fed well for the breeder but would not feed for me for any reason or method when it got skinny I started assist feeding it pinky parts.After two months of this it started eating and is now a fat pig.Some times it takes a little effort on the keepers end to have a baby live.To me it is gross negligence to let a snake starve to death.It also shows that you have no understanding of how to work with new born snakes.It is your fault it died period.This guy refunded you your money tho he sent you the wrong snake it is you who killed it.My advice would be learn more about dealing with baby snakes before buying any more.

I have done business with James and he is a stand up guy. He is very easy to get a hold of. Reading this thread, it sounds like incorrect husbandry was the culprit. I'm not saying you take bad care of your snakes, just saying baby blood pythons can be difficult if not set up exactly right. And if you were handling her, that just makes it harder. Also, that snake was not skinny when you got her judging from the picture. Looks like a lot of blood babies I've seen.

If I had a baby snake who didn't eat for 3 months and was looking bad because of it... It would go to a reptile vet or someone else experienced in force-feeding. I don't personally feel comfortable with force-feeding, otherwise I would do it myself. I don't see why that wasn't the course of action you took.

James Mcgee is a stand guy and he will fix problems he loves his animals and wouldn,t trade money for respect. I hope you get what you are looking for i have had troubles with breeders but james is a good guy. I hope you enjoy your bloods like me. Jeremy
