    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Janet Hickner, what can you say, I know she has some freinds in high places so I am sure some will come here and defend her, Do not be fooled because big name people stand up for her.

I purchased a baby chondro from her, the baby was not ready yet and I made payment plans and paid it off early, Well Janet wanted to ship the baby, she said it had enough meals and was ready to go. I was not in a hurry, Janet seemed real nice and she even thought I was nice. Until,, Well I got the baby and I had trouble getting it to eat well, I gave it close to 2 months of trying to get it going with it onle eating once in a while, I finally got tired of trying so hard and I called Janet and asked if she would be willing to help me or even take the baby back and get it better established, She FLAT out said NO, That it would not be worth it and basiclly she did not want to help me, She seemed to be blamming me that I did not know what I was doing, I have babies my self and I got 10 out of 15 to eat from the egg, I have been dealing with chondros for 5 years now I think. This pitucular animal was trouble. Janet also did not take the time to try and get it feeding frozen thawed, She fed it live because apparently she did not want to have to work with them that much.
I have tried and tried to reach Janet and ask her to at least email me and help me, but she will not even email me. She is totally ignoring me. If she would at least communicate with me and offer communication I would not have brought this here, I also Emailed her and told her that I was going to come here and post and she still ignored me.
She has produced some nice babies But if you have trouble with one of her babies she seems to not care and will not give you support and for this I recomend that you stay away from her even if the bigger name people say she is a good guy. you can clearly see she is not.

quick questions..

1) Does she have a wholesale business or store front of is she a private breeder?

2) What was her guarentee on the animal.

3) Did you keep her informed as to its condition from the time you got it?

4) Did you offer to pay part or all of the shipping back to her for her to try and bring the snake back to good condition?

5) did you save any of your emails with her to post here?

this stuff would help out a lot.
 
She is a private breeder, I do not know what the guarentee is I trusted her so I did not ask, I never asked for a refund or replacement I did not want one, I just wanted her to help me or at least give me some support.
I might have emails but they would probably be no good seeing they were just dealing with the before purchease, She would not contact me after the sale so no emails .
I offered to pay shipping back and forth.
Keeping her informed ? I emailed and let it be known I was having trouble, No communicating from her. She might have a different email I do not know
I do know she knows I have been trying to contact her because it was posted on a forum and has been at the top for close to 2 months and she posts there and I know she sees it. she is just ignoring me. I do not know why she is. our phone talk was level she was getting bad service so I could barely here her before I was hung up on or she lost service, that I do not know because she never tried to reach me. I did call her.

Im sure you have tried all the tricks like scenting with chick down..or Chicken broth.. braining..washing the FT....harrasing it with the pinky....etc...

Did you have a fecal done?
 
I have had it now for almost 7 months and I still have to struggle to get it to eat, I can get it to eat with lots of work about twice a month, fecal has been cleared. The baby will be a year old the end of Feb. I cannot get it to strike I can only get it to eat when I can get it to partially coil it. I only try to feed it once a week, it is in a shoe box tub and the only time I bother it is in the morning to mist the tub and then when I have to clean the tub.
 
Janet is no good

Just to keep it fresh, Janet still has not contacted me, The mods at Chondro Web keep deleting my posts when I post on the forum asking her to contact me. I also re-checked my feed card that she gave me and she force fed this baby the very first 2 meals, the baby was 10 days old, She is a very bad breeder and she should be stayed away from, The sad thing about it is she is a featured breeder on chondroweb,, LOL

Not suprised about your post being deleted on the Chondroweb forum. I was banned from Chondroweb over a Bushmaster thread and ensuing argument with Tom Phillips (A Moderator). I don't miss it at all. How is the Chondro in question doing now?
 
Ya Thomas owns Chondroweb and I got my last warning today, I keep posting everyweek to have Janet contact me please and they keep deleting it. Janet posts just about everyday so she knows I am trying to get her to contact me , Her post today was kind of cute, she says she cares about these snakes so much and they are like her family because she does not have people family, LOL LOL she cares so much that she force fed my baby at 10 days old, no wunder why she does not have people family, they all had the chance to run LOL
I have never been rude to her so not having her contact me is wierd.
The baby has not ate since my first post here. I can usually get it to eat twice a month with alot of work but it should have 4 to 5 meals in a month.
I have NEVER EVER had it strike at the food item witch makes it all that much more work and I am not gaining in progress
