    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just wondering if anyone knows if something happened to Jared, as I sent payment Oct. 24th (haven't heard from him since) for an animal that we discussed on the phone and he sent many photos of. I have not heard back from him in over a week, regardless of my emails and calls. I know that he is a very respected individual in our community, which makes me think that something is very amiss. Anyone have any news? Maybe he got in a car accident or something (I just did, ugh). Really I just hope he is ok. I'll wait a few more days and hope to hear something soon or I guess I'll have to file paypal complaint to get my money back :(.

Did you snail mail the payment? If you did, then you have not accounted for the post office delivery guarantees. With 1st class mail, while for many people it often arrives at its destination in 2-3 days, you should always leave a 7 business day expectation for delivery from the day you mail it. So if you mailed it out on the 24th, then the latest it should theoretically arrive at his end would be November 4.
 
Jared is usually very busy, but he is a GREAT guy, so i would encourage you to give him some time. He WILL get back to you! Casey Kuntz
 
I can understand busy, but he could at least send me a quick email to let me know that and I would be ok with it. But eleven days without any kind of confirmation/responce (even that he got the paypal) is just unacceptable to me. He did not seem like the kind of guy that would just leave someone hanging, and that is why I wonder if he had some kind of emergency situation and was hoping someone would have some information. I will wait a few more days, but I cannot help but be rather disappointed at this point. I hope that I find out whats going on soon, as I really would like to finish this transaction. :(

i agree, busy or not some sort of communication should have been already made. if something has happened then that is understandable but if not and to just leave someone hanging when you have recieved payment already for 11 days is rather bad business regardless of how you look at it and no matter how reputtable of a dealer they are.

He sent an e-mail to me yesterday about my reverse stripes, which is real funny because last Dec. I sent a payment and he never sent the snakes out. I had to go Paypal and my bank to get my money back. I know alot of people here thinks he's great, but I think it is more about his past than his present. Good luck, Bruce Essig

I would just start a Paypal dispute to get my money back. :shrug01:

But then I am not very patient...some are more "patient" than I am when it comes to having people holding on to my money when I don't have the product that I paid for.
 
No paypal dispute because it has nothing to do with that. anyone heard from him , he keeps ignoring my emails and txts , or answers what he wants.
 
It's been probably over a year ago now that I sent him payment for a yellowbelly male that he never sent me. He answered emails every day until the money was sent, then he disappeared. Tried paypal dispute with no avail. Good luck with anyone getting ahold of him after he has your money.

If anyone hears from him have him contact me , he wont respond to any emails anymore.
