Maybe its just me....but wtf was that about, Chuck?
So Steve didn't rush to the keyboard to post on the BOI the day the snake arrived. It's not as if this transaction was ancient history...I remember Steve telling me (just before he got the boot) that he had purchased it. I routinely wait a few weeks before patting somebody on the back here, regardless of how pleased (or displeased) I am when the animal arrives.

Is your issue with JAS related to business dealings, or just personal? I know John can be a bit of an ass at times, but I don't recall seeing complaints about his animals......and I would think that you, of all people, could overlook a bit of inappropriate language, intolerance, and not having enough sense to let something die.

Im of the opinion of... so the hell what. He forgot to post, and then yeah, maybe it did jar his memory. I think, regardless of the time that passed, steve is more than welcome to post a good guy thread if the transaction went well.

You would be more than welcome to do the same.

You need to make note of the time of the season. This is getting into my busy season where I get VERY short of patience, historically. Private warnings to you have not worked, so perhaps a public one will get your attention. The next ban will be permanent. I said in a private message that I felt you were following in Wes's footsteps, so this would be that final footstep for you here. If a temporary ban does not drive home the point, then the surface attempted to be penetrated by that point is too dense.

Wow...Chuckie and I have never seen eye to eye on anything before. I am curious, what exactly is it about this particular post that has crossed the line here? I don't see it.
I have been slammed by many members for posting "good experience" threads, as were the people that I had the good transaction's with. The attacks are usually far worse than this one and go on, and on, and on...
If Chuck thinks John is a pathetic, scumbag, loser doesn't he have the right to say so? Is it the fact that he called him a "salad tosser" that made this post unacceptable, or the part where he questioned Steve's motives for posting this thread?

Rich, I know it's your site, and you can run and moderate it any way that you choose. We can either live with it, or go somewhere else. I am not trying to test your patience here, I just don't see what is any different about this post, compared to the typical BOI thread.

First off, I could give 2 flying Sheets.. What chucky says or thinks about me.. Steves motives for posting this?? WTF does that mean? Steve actually recevived the snake a day or 2 before being let go.. If Steve never started this thread it would not bother me. Steve is a cool guy regardless if he bought from me or not! So Robert, This thread is about ME! If you want to talk about Chucky Start a new thread! :thumbsup:

That is what I was referring to about Steve's motive's for posting this thread, at this time. Maybe he just did not have time before now, or maybe he intentionally waited? I usually wait until after quarantine before posting feedback myself.
Maybe he just wanted to give his buddy a recent god guy thread at the beginning of hatching season? Maybe you, or another pack member will return the favor? And damned be the person who dare post any positive feedback about a non pack member. That is pretty much how this forum works isn't it? :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
 
I have had a lot of stuff going on and I wanted to wait until the snake was settled in before posting.
I know John can be harsh. Heck, I have been harsh with him in the past.
The fact of the matter was that even though he can be abrasive (as you can see Chuck doesn't like him for that) he is an honest seller, has never ripped anyone off or sent sick animals, and provides top quality CB specimens.
Contrary to popular belief I did not win the lottery. I had made this deal and the snake arrived before I was laid off.
I almost listed her for sale yesterday to try and raise cash because of the layoff but decided to list one of my best breeder females instead.
There was no alterior motive behind this post as some would imply. It was just a post about getting a nice healthy animal.
 
I agree Steve.
John and I have had a few go-arounds also, but I NEVER heard about him in a bad deal or offering sub-par animals.
Chuck on the other hand is almost "critical" on everything he posts, however, Chuck is an excellent detective when it comes to rooting out posts that are less than honest in appearence.

Sorry fella, my tolerance level for people who come onto this site, use it's facilities and then backslap it or me in the process, is VERY low today. Go somewhere else for 30 days. Then come one back and take another slap so I can feel more justified in making it permanent.
 
My apologies to all. I did not mean to rile anyone up, but most know that its in my nature to do that. I really had no good reason for badgering Steve (I'm sorry Steve) and to aggravate Rich (I'm sorry Rich) in the process. My reasons for John are personal ones and have nothing to do with his business. My apologies to John for taking pot shots at his business threads.

No worries. I have been very ornery lately myself. I blew up atsomeone on a thread recently due to built up frustration over the job situation and not over what he posted.
For what it's worth I have been harsh to John in the past (he even referenced one incident when this deal started) but I still think that even though he can (and has) rub people the wrong way, he is one of the good sellers out there.
I was only trying to post about the quality of the animal he sent me.

Steve that is one beauty you've got there. The more and more I see of John's balls the more I've got to have some..... Mojos people Mojos!!! :eek:

John after we move to the new house and the baby is born expect a call, she's going to need her very first ball!! :)
