I wanted to start here by making a public apology to Steve Hoch.
I would like to make everyone aware that I no longer back anything that Jason Perillo does, and do NOT recommend his services ( whether animals or aquariums) to anyone. I don't wish to get into all of the details here, but I feel he's screwed me over in the past, and several of my friends that I recommended to go his way as well. His business practices ( if you can call it that) are laughable at best when it comes to any kind of customer service. This is coming from someone whom he considered a friend as well, I'd hate to see how he treats his 'regular' customers.
I'll make my transaction simple so it's at least here:
Talked on the phone for endless hours about reptiles of all kinds, and I gave advice about cars ( I'm a mechanic), construction ( of various things), and business opportunities
- Ordered geckos ( 2.3 U phantasticus) and received 3.2 phantasticus.
- I shipped the male phant back and was told I would receive a cherry picked female as it's replacement. With the understanding that this would occur, I shipped Jason back the extra male phant, and included 1.2 adult ready to breed crested geckos ( he was interested in producing more) FREE of charge, and I paid shipping. This was a friendly gesture and was not expecting anything from it except for maybe some discounted geckos.
- It took me nearly 3 years to receive the replacement satanic from Jason, and along the way he screwed over several of my friends in various transactions ( whether geckos, or cages). He ended up freaking out on my wife at one point when she was asking questions about receiving her replacement satanic that I initially ordered for her.
Jason actually had the audacity to try to get me to pay shipping on the satanic that he owed us, despite the fact that he is the one who screwed up in the first place, I sent him FREE geckos, and PAID for the return shipping on HIS mistake. We ended up picking up the replacement gecko from Jason Hooton ( whom I have no problems with and appreciate him delivering the animal) at one of the San Diego Super Shows. We then had to pay to ship the satanic back to ourselves.
My friends can chime in if they'd wish, but I don't wish to speak for them here.
Once again, I'd like to apologize to Steve Hoch and anyone here that I may have offended or feels like I may have insulted them in any kind of way.
Finally, my main reason for doing this is not to bring this thread back from the dead or to give Jason Perillo an even worse name than he already has.... but to try to separate myself from any kind of misleading information I may have given in the past. I don't want people coming here looking for information on someone and seeing good people ( me and others) backing a 'Bad guy' even if it was in the past.
