    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well I did look at the first 4 animals that he placed in the bag which were all females and he said he needed to get males from a bag he had behind the table. I suppose I should have gone to the end of the isle, proceded to the back of his display and inspected each animal while 10 people are waiting in line to get things?? I agree it's also my fault for not physicaly counting them there on his table with a second bag and inspecting each of the animals extensively to see baby mites on them but I also think it's his responsability to not go out of his way to screw people.

Whatever, if you are not smart enough to check what you are paying for then you deserve what you got. You can't lay everything on the seller for your own stupidity. If you did not physically inspect the animals or remove your shoes so that you could count them then and there and then you drive home and then you realize a few days later after you got home, then in my book that is grade A first class stupidity.

I expect nothing from you whatsoever be it sorrow or sympathy nor was I looking for it nor do I think you are capable of it anyhow. And don't flatter yourself, you do not have the means to fluster me on your best day which I'm sure you don't have many of those. It was merely a typo and the "y" was missed. Though with all your insight of people (your comment that you know that I have loads of free time) I would think you would have known you were not receiving the correct amount of snakes you had just purchased. Also, I have absolutely no desire to trade pm's with you for whatever reason so refrain from sending me any for they will be deleted without being read.

You want constructive here you go, but it is constructive criticism since all I do is degrade people: Your situation was avoidable and self induced. Had you the intelligence to first look and handle the desired snakes and then verify that number the you were given was correct then this thread would not have been started. Obviously you are lacking the necessary intelligence to make a purchase at a be it as it may crowded reptile show. Maybe in the future you should bring someone along to help you for I doubt you have learned a lesson from this experience.
 
I just seen jay yesterday at the Mars PA show and told him about this tread. he read all about it and he is not going to respond to this. Im not taking eather side on this but all i can say is Good Luck!!!!

nice position to take!!!! He's not going to respond? I don't think it matters who counted or didn't count what, if Jay feels he gave the buyer the appropriate # of snakes he should a.) come here and say so
b.) at LEAST contact the buyer and let him know...

completely clamming up makes me think he may truly be in the wrong....

You obviously dont know Jay very well.I traded him 20 yellow eyelash viper babies for a pair of King cobras he swore ate fuzzies.Both Cobras died within a month and that's the last I heard from Jay.I sent him e-mail's,left messages on his phone and nothing!He advertised a Jameson's Mamba a short time after the King's died and I sent him an e-mail saying he could send me the Mamba and we would be squared up and he wouldn't even do that! He made over 4K on my eyelash Vipers and i got a dead pair of baby King Cobra's.Jay Eaton is a thief and a liar...period!

I believe Jay got hit with a Lacey Act violation for shipping you venomous snakes in the first place. At the time you were living in Colorado where they were being kept illegally, correct? I'm wondering about the time frame between you and Jay doing this deal and the time you were raided and arrested?

Hey Greg,what does any of that have to do with me getting ripped off by Jay? This thread is about Jay being an unethical reptile dealer,not Colorado law's.That would be an entirely different thread with a completely different topic.I've never ripped off anyone in my life! If someone wants to be a thief and rip people off including myself then it's my duty as an honest reptile breeder/dealer to inform all the other reputable dealer's about these types of people.Try sticking with the topic of discussion.

Hello Randal,this is old news!I was raided about 7-8 yrs. ago for keeping hots in Colorado even though there was no restrictions on keeping hots in the Cty. I resided.In fact I moved to that Cty.(Weld)just for that reason.Since the lawmakers in Colorado still cant decide what is right or wrong for it's citizen's, as far as keeping any living creature,I've relocated to Texas where I can pursue my life long dream of being the world's most reputable venomous snake breeder...and believe me,I'm well on my way.Also,I can tell you I didn't get where I am today by being dishonest.I have alot of great friends who look up to me and trust me and that's how you succeed in anything and everything...with trust.
 
in his defense, Colorado law is ever changing and hard to track down (at least it was when I lived there). Its part of the reason I left.

Brook, Thanks for the reply. It's just that I have never heard of you in Texas,:shrug01: and I run the only Hot Show in Texas (12 yrs running) and know most of the folks there. I must have missed it though, what did Jay actually do to you? I have bought snakes from Jay in the past and never had a problem.

Greg,I apologize if I came off as being harsh but Jay broke off communication because he did not want to replace the Cobra's.That incident happened many years ago and I've contacted Jay within the last year or two and he'll now say that I waited a year before I contacted him originally about the Cobras dying which is 100% B.S.! He know's he ripped me off, and I'm not the only one.
 
Randal,are you referring to the San Antonio show? If so,I was at the last one in November and picked up some really nice Gaboon's and Eyelash Viper's.I'll be there next weekend also and if your going to be there well then let's meet and I can tell you all about it.I'll be there early Sat. morning when the door's open.How do I find you?

And I've lived in the Austin area for over 25 years and hadn't heard of you being here. But I had heard stories of you from a good friend in Colorado.

Hopefully you do not live within the Austin City limits since it's illegal to keep venomous there.
 
Tim,actually I live on the outskirt's of Bastrop Cty. and I'm well aware of the Texas state and city laws.Thanks for the info. though.I'm actually looking for some acreage to build on west of San Antonio.
