    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Regarding that list, that is disgusting.. 6 pages of screen shots on a want list. Beggars. I am SO glad this is coming out.

KEEP IT GOING, there have to be more places these people have scammed others on. The bigger the fire the more people will notice.

I contacted PayPal since I paid them 520.00 for auctions but PayPal said that they were not disputable and that I would have to take them up with my credit card company.

Wow, 12.00 for a diaper. I stand corrected. There is a resell value after all. I guess maybe I should make a CL posting in the baby items for Flint then to go with the one already in the pets section.

Was it because of the time-frame that they said they were not disputable? If so, do you know what the time-frame is for disputes? I'll have to look, but I think my transaction to Christina was the 1st of April.

I am almost certain it was because of time-frame. Their time frame was 45 days and my disputes were closer to two months old. Other then that, thats all I know at the moment.
 
ahhh...I am suprised that they did not suspend their account based on getting monies sent to them intended for charity. bummer!!

Maybe if everyone called and complained in regards to what happen they will look into it at least....not dispute it but see them for the scammers they are. :( I dunno...maybe not..)

I pm'd the mods at blue tongue skink and bearded dragons.org about the situation asking if they would post the link. I looked on there but did not see it. Still waiting to hear. Also Maggie's paypal link has been posted on BP.net.
 
Good job team Fauna! I have made my small donation, posted links and screen shots.. and I'm sure I can get 3 weeks of vaca if they do pop up in texas... ill be picking up lucille on my way to picket their house (don't worry randal I've got room for you too) get them Fauna. Thes kinds of actions can NOT be allowed to go unpunished!
 
How about churches in their area. Do they ever list their members?
Did the reporter that did their wedding ever respond? I think if everyone emailed her the link, it would have to get her attention! I plan on doing that a bit later today.
There has to be other local places by them that this can be posted up. Anyone remotely local? Can post it on grocery store bulletin boards and anywhere else they have a spot for customer posts.
 
I just posted a link and a quick summary on my forum as well, although it is a small, new forum :) I also posted a link on my Facebook a few days ago.

I try very hard to be respectful of other sites and their rules as I would have them do the same when they are here. But, I have to tell you this situation isn't the norm. What they have done here is beyond just stealing from someone.

What they have done not just to Maggie and the members of this site but the community as a whole and to anything decent by any standards. The members here are also members on so many reptile sites and I would hope that every site would set aside any differences they may have and come together on this issue. It's just not about what happened on Fauna. It's not a he said/she said situation. They have admitted taking the funds collected for the family of a man that has passed away. It doesn't matter if you don't like this site or the person whose family was targeted in this scheme. If you are part of the reptile community there is no reason to censor this information on any forum related to our hobby.

I would ask that those that pulled the story, please reconsider. I have been watching the threads that have been posted on other sites, I've noticed a couple of sites in this community that have deleted the threads referencing what has transpired.

I have only seen a few really evil things transpire in the hobby, a lot of bad things, a lot of scammers and bad business practices, but not truly evil as what has transpired in this situation.

If we can't come together on something like this, I don't know how we can on any issue. Please, I ask again to let it stand.

I agree... and I really wonder about why she would talk about being so tight on money and then claim to WANT to have multiple children... Ummm, hello? Shouldn't you be financially stable BEFORE you pop out some kids? Come on!
 
the person that the pic belongs to needs to be notified. it is a copyright law and on top of that this would be concidered internet fraud as well as minimum level id theft(claming someone elses unborn children). all which carries a sentence of up to 7 years

I wonder if they would mind "negativity" on their forum after it happens to them? Just a question.

I have keep quiet on this but being a mother of twins, with one passing away shortly after birth, I can say that that is just very disturbing.
