    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

I can not believe how hard you all have had to work just to get the authorities to acknowledge a crime of this magnitude. I knew government workers can be lazy but holy crap.. Props to those who have kept up with this diligently.. If it weren't for you all the wises would have surely gone unpunished. I am studying in Law enforcement and should be out of police academy in a year and a half. My hopes are to become a member of the Flint PD. If i get the job and they are not caught by then i can pay them a visit lol...

That's the thing, to those of us in the herp community, it may seem like a "crime of this magnitude"; but to the authorities with ever shrinking budgets and decreased manpower, it is small potatoes. Is it right? No, but it is reality... :(

I thought the final dollar amount was rather substantial for any crime and should have caught someones attention. But I guess the authorities probably just saw each individual persons claim, not the total amount taken..

I saw a craigslist ad the other day in Flint that was some new "Reptile Rescue". I have asked around about them, trying to see if it was these two trying to get animals, but I have not been able to find out anything.

I included everything in the IC3 complaint. Locally, well, they could care less. I sent David all my side of things, because he already had everything else. When I contacted Flint PD, I included my side of the deal, as well as links to everything explaining it was multiple people.

They know the full amount, and that several people are involved.
 
Has there been any progress made in some kind of charges? or at the very least a judgement against them? DAND, I sent you a PM with my email address for the flyer, as I will be glad to circulate it at all of the Pittsburgh, PA area shows, I go to all of them as a customer.

Still no word about them being charged whatsoever. :(

If you'll be at the show this weekend (Sunday in Cheswick) I can give you them there. Find the dude with the goatee mid way down his chest and you've found me. I appreciate you offering to pass them out. I do not attend the other PA shows and the more circulation the better.

Speaking of spreading the word, this past weekend was yet another weekend where I was able to spread the word both in the metro Detroit and metro Cleveland areas.

I was contacted by the PA Attorney General and in the letter it stated the Bureau of Consumer Protection has attempted to make contact with the Wises but have not received a response. Therefore they are forwarding my complaint to the:

It wouldn't surprise me if they did run and hide being the cowards that they are. Scurrying away like rats. Regardless of where they go I will do my best to find them to make sure they answer for what they did to Maggie and her kids. I wonder if there is another charge tacked on if they flee the state attempting to avoid answering for what they have done?

Since this is being transferred it may be a good idea for all those involved who have made donations or made purchases in the auctions to contact this office directly to make complaints against the Wises.

David & Kevin, I know you've both done a wonderful job of compiling evidence so perhaps you both can put it all together in one package and send it to the below address also so it can be reviewed. :thumbsup:

On a brighter note though, maybe they're dumb enough to come to TX after all. :D

That's a good idea. Maybe we can all get together and each write something up regarding our personal experience (signed of course), and forward it to one person who will then mail everything in at once. That might have more of an impact than us sending things in here and there on our own? I mean, if they get an envelope with a couple dozen complaints in it they'd have to look deeper I'd hope?

This is a copy of their paypal account at the time they gave Dave access in hopes that he would clear their name. This document is 4 pages long and needs to be viewd in "landscape mode" not portrait.

All together there are 23 pages of documentation to prove the Jeff & Christina Wise stole money from the Fauna Members that donated their money & heart and soul to help two grieving families. Fauna was able to raise $6786.62 for the Kimmel and Morro families.

Of that $6786.62 only $2040 got sent to where it was SUPPOSED to go.

Jeff & Christina Wise stole $4746.62 from two grieving families

If anyone can get a reporter to consider printing this story... just send them to this one post. I have condensed all the proof from this massive thread along with proof from other parts of the site into this information.

I will also make the members of fauna a promise. If you can get the reporters to print anything on what Jeff & Christina Wise has done to these two grieving familys.... I will host a copy on my server to go along with the information I now have (you just need to send me a link to the story). IF we can get an article that states these two will do jail time over what they have done... I will spend the time to make a honest webpage that everyone can be proud of.

I have done the work for you... but you have to finish the job.

Lets bring these two to justice! Spread the word to the media and link theme directly to this post. It has everything they need to run with the story.
