    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

The girl is obviously mentally unstable to even have the cajones to WANT to show her face and try to blame it on Jeff.
They were both just as guilty as the other.

I absolutely love how she ended her ridiculous threatening letter with "may god bless you each and every day" or whatever she said. Wow.

At least that threat is proof that this threads activity is effecting her life in some way. I say, just like the trends in government these days, we try to get back to our roots and resort to a torch and pitchfork mob, might be more effective than relying on law enforcement...

To give you an idea of the resources and reliability of the Detroit area police. Last week 6 people were shot in detroit, one of the wounded people called 911 and said "hey weve been shot" the 911 dispatcher basically said, we dont have any ambulances or police available so no one is coming to help. The wounded people who survived ended up driving themselves to the emergency room...

Keeping that in mind, the police departments around here are suffering huge layoffs and funding cuts, they are swamped in every big city. In all honesty and as sad as it may be, I am betting this case takes a back seat, especially if Flint PD is handling it, they are possibly facing being dissolved into genessee counties department just as pontiac has been into oakland county the other week.
 
I have a friend who lives in Flint. I asked him how the police would handle this and he said they most likely wouldn't. He was an EMT up until recently and even the EMT's have issues getting police back up when needed. He had to wait 20 minutes for police to show up after a guy assaulted the EMT's. Luckily he also worked security so he was able to subdue the guy until the police got there. This really gives you an idea of how bad it is there. People think Detroit is bad but in reality Flint is worse.
 
wow, that is pretty sick and extremily low. to think, of all ppl, you would think that the ppl in our reptile community would be there just as much as our best friends, for help and support. im so very sorry for maggie, my heart goes out to her!

The area in which they lived was a toilet so it is no wonder they are such pieces of $&%#!!!! Eventually those two floaters will go down!!! :toiletcla
 
I know that it's been a long time since I've posted, mostly because I haven't really had anything new to contribute. I do want to say that the one of the snakes I bought in the auctions back in the start of all this mess, the gorgeous hypo het albino Sammy from Rick, should soon be a father again. My female, Paige is due any day now, and I expect some exceptional albinos and sunglows from the two of them. If there's interest, I know times are tough right now, I would love to auction of at least one of her babies. Depending on how much we can generate for Maggie, I'd be happy to donate anything from a possible het up to a sunglow (either gender). The catch would be that I'd want more money raised for the sunglow, ya know?

Just a thought... since this is the offspring of one of the original auction snakes, and one of the higher producing auctions. Woody, the other snake I bought, didn't really have his heart in it to breed this year, so we'll try again next year :)
 
Well Jeff and Christine, a long standing bad guy just slipped up in Texas and is now going to be extradited back to face his punishment.

I know Maggie could use the help as her hours were recently cut (to reiterate the times are tough statement). I thank you for your offer and if it does come to happen I am sure she would appreciate any help you could provide.

Well, then Mr DAND - We should definitely plan on doing this thing!!! Potentially more than one snake if the interest is there :) Paige is looking closer and closer to dropping her babies, so when she does, I will have you help me with all the details, and of course all monies will be sent directly to Maggies Paypal :thumbsup:

I will probably start a countdown thread in the boa discussion forum for Paige, and can add pictures and all that, so I don't clog the BOI with anything else non related :)
 
How funny Katie that is my name and we just cut my baby ball eggs Thurs night. I had 4 spiders and 4 normals. I can donate one spider or the four normals. They just gotta come out of the eggs (day 54 now) and I just need to get them to eat. : ) I will monitor the thread or if Dand can let me know I am in. V/R Paige
 
I would suggest any auctioning for Maggies benefit be done without the use of middle man/woman. Just auction it off, and give Maggie the moneys directly.

I didn't know chuck had died-I was so sad when I saw the thread about it. I wish I had something available to donate. :( Unfortunately I don't.
