You had quite a bit on your mind at the time so don't kick yourself. Saving your kicking for those who deserve it.
I cannot even begin to stress how much I agree with this statement. You were taken advantage of during a time when you needed a friend the most. I think anyone of us in your situation would have done the same. In our darkest hour, we look for a guiding light. They seemed to be just that with these auctions- they deserve the kicking, not you.

The check is a fake the PAYPAL is all real. I did lie about the money.
I took out all but the pertinent information.
To clarify/recap for anyone reading at this point- the PayPal covered $1,600. That leaves approximately $3,853 unaccounted for from the total of $5,453 raised for Chuck, Maggie, and their children.
Moving on-
Then when we got home I found in the mail a bill from my electric company saying I owed 700 or they would shut it off due to an old bill it was an address i lived at a long time ago my ex had put the electricity back in my name. THAT WAS THE 1500. thats 3100 total so far.
First of all, you definitely could have refuted that bill. I would know- it's happened here between my parents. So that excuse right there makes no sense. (Just thought I would point that out to anyone who may care)
Second, let's remember that Maggie knew of you using $200 for said aunt from that trip. You, by your account now, have made it clear you used $800 for the trip- not $200. This is setting aside the fact that you used $700 without Maggie's knowledge (aside from casually tossing it into conversation
).

I NEVER said you could take the $700 for your electric bill. You "threw it" into a conversation - you also said well, I knew you wouldn't want us to have no electricity.
When maggie said I need the 1000 now or else, I didnt know what to do.
So you denied any type of wrongdoing, told Maggie to "bring it", and when you finally confessed it was bogged down with excuses that was probably meant to tug at some heart strings (it didn't).

But you didn't, and she doesn't.
If you put anything for sale up here, I think it would be a wonderful idea to have the buyer send all but the shipping to Maggie's PayPal. That way, there is a true record of "paying what you owe". Food for thought.
Also I am trying to sell the snakes and cresteds to have money given to maggie whoever gets them can have the money sent right to her. I am talking with someone about picking them up.
If they pick it up, wouldn't it be safe to say the money goes to you? Did you mean a fellow member was picking them up and giving the money to Maggie? I don't see any new listings on here from you, correct me if I am wrong.
I never used her money to buy the hets or the albino. That money was from my mom she knew I wanted ball pythons and hadent gave me christmas or my birthday yet along with loaning me alittle more till we get taxes.
So, instead of paying what was owed to Maggie, you decided to use that money from your mother for yourself.
The bottom line is that this money should not have even been with you for this long. The SECOND you got these donations, you should have been sending the money to Maggie. Anything less, and in this case it was, was wrong and disingenuous.
It was theft.
I would ask you not to lose heart when it comes to these matters.
I couldn't agree more. Doing so would be a disservice to not only Rick, his family, Maggie, and her children, but also to Chuck.
