    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Maggie and Rick dont have a case in this... only the members that dontated animals or won the auctions. The legal term is "theft by fraud" and technically the Wises didnt steal from Maggie and Rick... they stole from everyone that donated. Maggie and Rick was just the intended reciepients (sp?)

Prime example right there Steve. Instead of spending some time and gathering the info yourself, which has been provided several times in this thread, as well as a user created group, you want someone to send it to you to make it nice and easy. You could gather that info yourself, have it filed, and be back here before Kevin even gets off work. But you'll sit and wait for the info instead, won't you. :angry:

I can sorta understand someone just coming into the thread and being a little lost as to where the pertinent info is, but you been here all along. Seems to me if you really wanted to help, you would have done it by now.

For those that have filed, thank you. Sorry for my expressed agitation. I just can't stand it when people sit around and let others do what they should be doing themselves. Says a lot about a person.

Whats with all of the personal attacks on people in this thread. We have requests for lists of people who havent yet done anything as well? This thread is losing its credibility by all the personal attacks as well as all the pats on the back.

Shouldnt the primary focus of this thread be about the Wise's being bad guys rather than about whos doing what and how they are doing it?

FYI just because someone may or may not have filed an IC3 report doesnt make them a bad person. Its also possible that they DID in fact file but chose not to send their case number to anyone. Trust me, the thought of me not sending my info to anyone crossed my mind.

There is a difference between attacking someone, and using them as an example. I did the latter of the two.

But you are correct. It's not helping the thread. I'm just starting to get a little bit peeved about it all. So I'll take a step back and chill. :thumbsup:

I know I personally filed my IC3 late... I could go into all my excuses, which are indeed legitimate (i.e. out of state, bad internet connection, etc.), but I did file. We all need to. Whether it was $10 or $1000, it all counts. I will personally be going to my police department on Tuesday, even though some of you know that my physical health as of late makes that difficult. Reality is, even if your excuse is legitimate, please reach out to those that are willing to help you. Maybe someone can walk you through the IC3 to make it less intimidating? anything, just please reach out.

As far as the personal attacks. I've been avoiding posting, because I don't want to seem like I'm falling on one side or the other of some of them... but why do we have to have THOSE sides.... I thought we were presenting a united front AGAINST the Un Wises... Can we please put aside all these minor and petty differences, and give a little here?

I am also new to fauna, but hardly new to this hobby and community as a whole. We need to remember that we're all fighting for the same cause here, even if we aren't the best of friends...

Can't we all just get along???
 
Y'know, screaming and swearing at people is not the way to get them to do stuff...especially when you don't know if they have a good, justifiable reason for not filing yet. Just sayin'...since it's obvious not everyone understands that concept.

I wish I knew what IC3 form y'all filled out for it to only take 20 minutes. It took me over an hour. Then again, I'm a detail-oriented person, and I like to provide the maximum amount of information possible. *shrug* I realize this is all getting compiled anyway, but it still doesn't hurt to include as much information and evidence as possible.

Thank you to those who listed the Wises' information; that was eminently helpful.

I got another message from my cop friend and instead of sending it to everyone via PM or email... Im just gonna do it here so I only have to do it once.

I asked a lawyer about this issue today. He said the victims will need to contact the State Attorney's Office where the crime originated. I believe you said the Wises were in Michigan.

You can still try your local PD but ultimately you will probably have to file your complaint with these folks

Cool John. I'd go with the angle that you are one of many people and while your part may be small in their eyes it is a piece of a much larger puzzle. A total of $4,746.62 missing funds is not a small amount of money if you look at it as a whole. Not one person getting scammed but over 4 dozen people getting scammed.
