    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

I only catch up on Fauna once every couple of months or so, and when I do so, I'm just a lurker. Even so, I've felt like Fauna is "home" when it comes to a reptile community. I spent the last 2 days reading through the posts (not a lot of work got accomplished yesterday) and I have gone through emotions of being horrified, saddened, upset, but most importantly I've felt such compassion from this group. People are truly lucky to have friends like you all OFFLINE, but to have friends like you all online is just incredible.

I hope you all can put aside your bickering with eachother (emotions are high.. just let it go) and continue to stay a united front against these terrible people.

I also checked out Christiana's FB and saw she said she was talking to "Mr Mitchel", and she believes everything is going to be OK -- perhaps a lawyer? Of course I'm just assuming at this point.

I'm sure they have not claimed their lucrative income from their online criminal online auction business to defraud grief stricken families . Anyone who suspects they have defrauded the state can use this link. You can include their PayPal records in your complaints. I did a report over the phone some time ago and was also given this link.

Morgan, I can say with a lot of confidence, that Fauna has been "home" to many of us (especially in this thread). I know for certain, its been home to me as well as DAND. I dont frequent other forums even though I am now a new member at quite a few of them. As someone who lurks, you should feel comfortable posting here by judging your post here.

I hope you dont let our emotion driven, heated conversations take that experience away from you. Its not our intent to do that. We are ALL outraged over whats happened here and why this thread has even had to be made.

My apologies to you as my anger and outrage in this situation has gotten the best of me. This situation has taken its toll on me and I dont express anger or outrage very often. I have kept it bottled up and I let it out. Just to let you know, if David (DAND) and I were to ever meet and both consumed alcohol, I am sure we would not have a problem sharing a table and drinking a beer at the end of the day.

I truly hope that you STILL feel at home with Fauna as its the best forum on the net for our hobby.

I believe that on the IRS website there is one for reporting people who defraud the Govt for NOT filing taxes as well. ;)

This isn't the first rodeo I've watched on the boards. I've been around since 2005 and I absolutely realize the lashings people are giving eachother are actually intended for the parties at fault (in this case, the Wises). How could I ever let my opinion of Fauna be skewed as I've watched how much good has gone on in this forum? A couple of words exchanged would never change my feelings about this place (very positive, incase it isn't obvious).

I'm still rooting for everyone here.. Maggie, Rick, the donors, and the people who have spent their time putting together every shred of evidence together to take these :censored:s down.
 
This is what I think everyone should do now- Turn Your Back on the Wises Block their emails, IPs from viewing your websites, screen names, IM id's. Totally do not read or especially respond to anything further they might say or do. Maggie and Rick (and the authorities and lawyers) are the only ppl that they need to say anything to.
Close them out of your thoughts, your life, the world. There really isn't much left now to discuss about the UN-Wises. Thsoe two aren't worth your time and brain power.
Everyone involved in digging up info, helping complaints filed, and aid to Maggie and her children and Rick has done excellent job. I am proud to know some of you and admire all the motivation to take care of your community.

Don't even spend too much time reading local police reports in Flint. I'm sure they will get what is their due. If not for this incident, the Wises lifestyle will catch up to them.

They do not only have to worry about their lifestyle catching up to them but they had better be watching over their shoulders for me. I will not allow them to get away with this. Rest assured, one way or another they will be paying for this.

This past weekend at a show I vended on Saturday I did my best to have the state of Michigan papered with the flyers I received from Seanna - Iguanachic (thank you dear, I owe you one for printing them up for me). I also made sure to provide some to the promoters of another show in Michigan who were more than willing to help get the word out also. I need to get some to another that said they would get the word out as well. So I pretty much have the state of Michigan's shows covered if they happen to show their faces at any local shows to them. Ohio will be covered this weekend and I will be spreading the word throughout Pennsylvania the following weekend. I have sent the flyer to a few other people who requested it in other states also.

Strangely enough there were a number of people who said they recognized christina. I am pretty sure there were a few people who actually knew the Wises. The look some people had and or the whispering to the person next to them when they saw the flyer and the stammering when I asked them if they knew them and their subsequent quick exit from my table is what I am basing this on. Unfortunately I did not have anyone admit to knowing them. I am pretty sure they got word of what I was doing and may even have one of the flyers in their possession by now.

One way or another, by myself or with the help of others I will see to them paying for this, with interest!!!!!
 
I have a PA show July 31st and would be more than willing to hand out the flyers and put them on my table. I will also ask if other vendors would like to do the same.
Gotta go back through threads and find info and get a PM out so I can get some :D

I will more than likely see the promoters for that show at the show I will be at the week prior and I can pass some onto them for you or via another vendor. E-mail me ([email protected]) me and we can talk about this there instead of here. :thumbsup:
 
I've avoided this whole situation because I wasn't directly involved but Dave and Kevin.. what you have compiled is wonderful and I commend you for it! Keep up the good work! I hope the Wises get what they deserve and that's a nice view through steal bars!!

Dean... I can understand your frustration but don't give up.. there are too many people that support you and your contributions to the BOI and other threads on here have been inspiring and on point!

Everyone who was involved in the auctions and the fundraising... I commend you all and wish I could have been more of a contributor but I have financial burdens of my own at this time as I almost lost my son to illness when this was going on!!

Please folks... Keep things on track and do what needs to be done to get these two Criminals taken down!

Maggie, Don't be discouraged... Karma is a B**** and they will get there due... You concentrate on taking care of your children and try not to let them see you getting upset over what's going on here!! We Love You all and will do whatever it takes to get you what you need and deserve!

It's on my signature on EVERY forum I am on whether it's reptile related or not and it's also on every profile message. :reddevil:

I'll do my best to further spread the word. There is also local reptile shows coming up so I may call on Dand to obtain a attachment to the flier. Just have to check with some people first.
 
:( This is terrible, although I'm afraid to say I'm not surprised to see someone set themselves as a charity middleman only to take gross advantage :/

I read through the first 10 pages, but there's a lot to catch up on - are people pursuing legal action? Has everyone who paid to the wises with paypal filed a complaint? Even if the transaction was labeled as a gift it can't hurt.
 
Rock on Dave...all of my internet customers have a copy of the paper with thier faces on it...killer xerox machine here at work......You have a michigan address so just give that to them and tell them that is where YOU live lol
then set a meet there.....heh heh they will be dealt with in our own lil way
