    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I suppose everyone has the right to their opinion. Can I ask on a personal level why you think big snakes are more dangerous? I'm more concerned about my childrens safety around my 4' guyana redtail than around my burms. My guyana is not allowed to even be in the same room as my childred because of her temper, but my 9' burmese "Baby" is my daughters favorite snake. We sit as a family on the couch and watch movies and she strokes his tail and he's never so much as hissed at the kids.
I have to be curious and ask why the bias agaist large snakes and kids?

I HAVE BEEN TO HIS HOUSE AND I CAN VERIFY THAT THE RIVRES' FAMILY LIVE LIKE SLOBS. I SAW IT WITH MY 2 EYES. SICK ANIMALS SMELLY CONDITIONS. PERSONAL HYGENIE IS NOT PERSONAL IN THEIR HOUSE I GUESS. I'M REALLY GLAD I FOUND THIS THREAD, I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THEY TRIED SOMETHING LIKE THIS WITH. IT'S REALLY A SHAME!!!

It sounds like you knew who he was just fine. You know he works for a store. You know he is trying to sell a burm. So why say you do not know him?

Wow in one sentence you say he sells bad sick animals. In another sentence in THE SAME paragraph.....you say it is not you saying those things. So if you did not say it...are you telling me someone else is on your computer typing that stuff?

I recieved some turtles from him about a month ago. 2 have shell damage and 1 is blind. He never mentioned any of these problems to me before the trade occured. I'm not one to cause any problems that's why I didn't post this before. I didn't say anything to him about the turtles after the trade. He had already made me mad before I got the turtles. I sent him 2.2 adult mali uromastxy and 3 adult female leopard geckos. My wife shipped them usps, I told her not to but she did anyway. Anyway it took them 2 days to get there. I was worried that they would end up dead and I would be labeled as the bad guy. My wife shipped them on thursday the post office said the package would be there on friday. When he didn't get them on friday that's when I got worried. The following day I recieve an e-mail around 2pm saying that he had not recieved the lizards yet. I checked the tracking number at usps.com and this is what it said "Your item was delivered at 10:55 am on June 21, 2003 in COPPERAS COVE, TX 76522. The item was signed for by K RIVERS." Now I don't know if he was trying to scam me or not but I don't like to be lied to and that was a straight up lie. Telling me that the lizards wern't there yet when in fact his wife already signed for them.
He also doesn't have the best packaging skills either. He sent me 7 adult box turtles in a box that measures 14" long x 10" wide x 6"high. I still have the box the exact way that I recieved it. Plus he had the turtles in direct contact with the styrafoam(spelling?) liner which looked like they were scratching holes in. I don't know what happens if they would eat it but I don't think it would be good. Well I don't know what else to say. So I'm outta here for now. Thanks for listining Jake

Ritchie, is this not the most amazing thing? I just stumbled on this one as well, long after reading the other post regarding these same people.

I have retics ranging from yearlings to 14' breeders. With that said, I DO KNOW retics! That snake is NO 11 foot snake!!! You figure your hands (yours, being the person holding the snake) are no more than 2 1/2 feet apart. The front portion of the snake (with the head on it....LOL) extends about 18" from the hand, the wrist with the tail end of the snake (being the rear end of the snake) is wrapped around the wrist of the person 2 times, I would give it about 12" for that. Lastly, there is approx. 12-16" of tail hanging at the end. If you add all that up, I would give you 6 1/2 feet AT BEST!!
The snake in the below pic (at the time it was taken was 11'4" (you are missing some of it that was cut off at the bottom of the pic if you are curious), that is a far cry form the little boa size retic you are showing.

I think your credibility throughout this thread is anything but CLOSE to be remotely good (if that makes sense).

If you put this thread along with the other one you all have become so famous on, I would have to go with the fact (or opinion if it makes you happy) that you all do not care for your snake they way they should. Although you all might think it is standard practice to have animals die, I do not. You mention snakes dying here and there, snakes dying that you all send people, and like Ritchie said, to "adopt" a snake just to make money on it shows that you no more care for animals than the man in the moon. $$$$$$$ is what you are after, regardless of the expense.

I hope you change your practices in your communicating with people, care for other live animals, and lastly your outright disrespect for people.........and yourselves for that matter.

Sorry, but I say you all are WRONG in this thread. Jeff should have posted it about you all!

a little added info our trash is picked up on tuesday and attached is a picture of our biggest snake since we are so scared of them if this was true we would not have a 11 ft reticulated python around our children kim& bill

Just got off the phone with the city waste dept., guess what? Your trash is picked up on Wed., not Tuesday!!! Caught up in another lie! I guess that settles that one.
 
Didn't they say their trash was picked up on Wednesday in the first few messages?

I'm not trying to defend anyone in particular but it seems like, in the fluster, it's easy to get the days of the week messed up.
