Bad Guy Jeffrey Thomas - J T Amazon Exotics

Folks

Was doing a trade with Jeff Thomas from JT Amazon Exotics... All started well, sent him what probed out as a very nice OG female...he was suppose to send a female Albino the same day I sent the OG...he did not send on the day he was suppose to send nor the next day after taking delivery of the OG..

He later claimed the OG was a male, I asked him to please return the snake, I would pay for shipping on the return and appologized for the mistake. The snake was never returned a week later...he adventially e-mailed and asked to keep the animal in exchange for cash...I agreed as the snake was taken in trade and I had no need for the animal.. Still to date I have not recieved payment..this guy has proven to be very untrust worthy and pretty much a liar..to many broken promises.

Jeff, since you are not taking my e-mails or phone calls anymore..I thought I would toss it out there..send my cash and I will make good on the BIO. In the mean time BUYER BE WARE!!!

Issue being is that I did a trade for that snake local...did not really want it but it was for a friend..with it being male I am upside down on the trade..so I was just going to give the snake back to the guy and he can return mine... I would be willing to send $100 for the Alb female and pay the shipping...Albinos have come down, I am currently buying them at $225..in 5 lots.. I do however understand that your female is 400 grams

Got the e-mail and we are GTG on the trade.. I am close to the same with breeding, I will let them go around 1500 grams but normally by the second year they are close to 2K grams.. I will snap a few more pics of her this weekend...I will ship anytime..living in extreme heat and cold has taught me how to ship in hot or cold conditions...for the most part I will ship anywhere in the country anytime of year. Sounds like you have quite a bit going on with the ghost stuff..hopefully some cool projects.

Popping is never 100% certain. Everyone is human and therefore everyone makes mistakes. Even people with 20+ years experience make mistakes.

At least he was willing to rectify the situation by having the snake shipped back (at his own expense), which I personally find commendable.

And just because he made an error in sexing the animal doesn't mean you can give him the ring around for weeks and then cease contact. (Sorry you get so many personal injuries, that's a bummer, but sheesh) If I had something that didn't belong to me I'd be much more prompt in getting back to its rightful owner, especially in this business where scammers seem to abound... I'd want to prove with my actions (not with hot air) that I'm a stand up, reputable person to deal with.

Something else I'm not clear about here... Weren't you both supposed to ship your respective animals on the same day? Why did Dan mail his and Jeff not send his end? The way I'm seeing it... Jeff sealed the deal, didn't ship, and then found a problem with Dan's animal... I read the emails, but still wasn't sure about this.

As for Dan owing you an apology... I don't think so. You dropped the communication ball, whatever the reasons... And honestly, just from reading your responses I'd rather do business with Dan than you. At least Dan held up his end (the sexing thing was unfortunate, but like I said before, mistakes happen and he was willing to correct it.) and kept in communication.

Oh, one other thing I read in the emails... I'm not really up on BP care, but I do have a friend who has several and he feeds them an appropriate sized animal once a week (further apart depending on age). As for Dan owing you an apology... I don't think so. You dropped the communication ball, whatever the reasons... And honestly, just from reading your responses I'd rather do business with Dan than you. At least Dan held up his end (the sexing thing was unfortunate, but like I said before, mistakes happen and he was willing to correct it.) and kept in communication.

Oh, one other thing I read in the emails... I'm not really up on BP care, but I do have a friend who has several and he feeds them an appropriate sized animal once a week (further apart depending on age). Perhaps I read it wrong, but did Jeff feed the Albino female in question three times a week? Isn't that excessive? I don't know, I'm asking, not accusing or attacking, for the record...

no the deal went like this... Dan was advertising this ghost as a female so i made him a generous trade offer for an albino female in the 400 gram range .. we agreed.. he said he would ship first and he did , well the snake arrived , misrepresented so i shot him the you tube video of me popping the males hemipenes on video and i asked him what he wanted for the snake cash he said 250 witch i though as a bit high.. so i figured id send him back i got dhl shipping labels and they told me that to reverse the charges i'd have to get his shipping info back well three days later i broke my ankle and had no communication with dan for a week maybe 10 days.. cause i was at my girls house gettin pampered .. for those that are puzzled still as to why i had no p.c. communications with dan.. so Dan chose the bio route.. i get a rise out of people that dont know mer from a can of paint . have these opinions of how your snake is being cared for.. im not getting into it i've been successfully keeping and breeding ball pythons for 15 yrs if i'm producing cutting edge offspring ..i must be doin something right stay tuned for the super pastel lesser ghost and ghost mojave super granites...

WE don't know you from a "can of paint;" you are entirely correct in that. HOWEVER, this is how we get to know breeders and decide if we want to throw business their way.

The situation that lead up to you having to post here and how you conduct yourself through your posts here is one way that we get to know you from a can of paint..capeesh?
