    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

In light of another recent thread, I have decided that now would be a good time to start a thread that paints Jenea Wood and her company, Guardian Reptiles in a more accurate light.

I bought 2.2 Gray Ratsnakes from Jenea last year, and they arrived in excellent health, chowing down everything I put in from of them. My transaction with Jenea was among the smoothest deals I have had since I came into this hobby.:thumbsup:
 
Good idea on the new thread.

I bought my first western hognose snake from Jenea last December. She was just great, and the hognose she sent is exactly (even better) than described. Being new to the breed, she answered all my questions, sent a caresheet, feeding chart, and even sent a short video of her son handling the animal we were considering prior to the purchase. The animal is a feeding machine, and has absolutely thrived with us.

If I'm ever in the market for another hognose, I'd go straight to Jenea.

I've bought from her and it was a flawless transaction. Great animal and very prompt replies and shipping.
 
I've spoken to Jenea online and in person at a few local shows. She has been nothing but courteous and generous with her time (her table is usually busy). I haven't pulled the trigger on any hognose yet but again, she's always been forthcoming with information and also wrote a great book on hognose husbandry. Looking forward to the time when I finally pull the trigger on some hognose!
 
I have some western hoggie females from Jenea. Excellent animals! I would never hesitate to buy from her again. She's always available for animal support, too!
 
Jenea has been incredibly helpful with our Hognose and her book is a great resource as well.
She is friendly, helpful and most importantly really knows her stuff and is suipportive of her peers in the reptile community.
I will definitely work with her and recommend her to anyone looking for healthy animals in the future.
This makes me think it is time for a new little Guardian Reptile snake.

We acquired a pair of western hogs back in 2008. Both snakes were beautiful and did wonderfully! Jenea was very professional, provided records for each animal and was polite and answered all of our questions.

In addition to being a fellow hobbyist, she has since become a good friend to us and helped support our local herp society. It would behoove most breeders & dealers to match her caliber of professionalism and quality of animals.
