    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've been keeping and rescuing/rehabbing reptiles for years, and just recently have started a small breeding project with ball pythons. This will be my (hopefully) first season.

I contacted Jeremy about an adult female "yellow granite" he had for sale on his website and also kingsnake.com. We spoke via text and email and made a deal. He told me with full disclosure that she was an import, farm bred in Africa, transferred to Josh at Outback before landing at Cooper's, a 5-egger last in March, had only been with Jeremy a short while, and her genetics for passing on granite genes were guaranteed. Also, because she's an import and had been passed through a few hands, she was a picky eater, feisty, and in general "fussy". He pointed this out a few times, to make sure there was no confusion later if she would eat and tried to maul me. Also, he said that she needed to gain weight and may not produce for us this year because she's been avoiding mice and rats.

I thought at the very least with my rehab experience I could work with her, get her eating regularly, get her handleable, and maybe breed her down the line. There was just something about her....you know?

The point of this is that not only was Jeremy very honest about her history, but he likely underestimated her. What I have after about a month is a happy, healthy, very personable and easily handled BEAUTIFUL granite who is putting down 1-2 small rats a week like clockwork. Still not positive I'm going to try to breed her this year, but she definitely will get back to weight and flirts with one of our males who cruises by her tub sometimes.

Jeremy has been super polite and professional about this whole transaction, which would have been completely my fault had it gone south. I would be happy to do business with him again.
