I feel very strongly that the OP is making this entire story up just for attention.

I disagree. I think she is looking to get a free snake.

I also am not asking for anything from Jeremy except that he make good on the female.

Given that there are no photos of a missexed snake although there is a photo of a snake at some point in time with mites, I think there is not enough here to convince me of any misdoing on Jeremy's part. It is simply asking too much to believe that someone who claims to have had a camera in hand at the time and used it would not take pictures of any alleged popped hemipenes. It is also more than I would believe than any snake owner would simply wrap up a snake with mites and take it home. Susan's deal was with Robert, not with Jeremy, she could have asked that any alleged mite problem be treated prior to her receiving them. I don't think the mites came from Jeremy. He sold out of all his snakes he put up for sale, there have been glowing reviews from customers, no mention of mites.

I do not believe Robert Russell is going to be of much help. I believe he finally read the thread, and I think he is afraid to come here because he sees that people are going to ask questions and not simply accept a story I think was cooked up months after the fact.
When I asked Robert to come here and post, this was his reply:

"I would not lower myself to join a site that is such a xxxx site it is almost funny. No interest in going there ever and this deal no longer concerns me. Thanks for your input though."

A pivotal question is asked by Dan G, "On what date were the bull snakes received? "

She not only ignores, but in an insulting manner, questions why that is important. Sorry, but that is the response of someone wanting to deflect and avoid. That question by Dan was VERY important in the big picture.

Forward to the emails that Jeremy Pierce posted between he and the mysterious middle man the OP did not want to involve - Robert Russell. The bulls were shipped in October, received by Robert, with absolutely no complaints, long before the OP posted here. Even when the OP said she was there when the box was opened.

And she comes here months later with no other proof but a bull with mites that could have come from anyone, anywhere ?

I got what I posted infested with mites. I took the pair. I treted them and they are doing fine now. I saw the snakes popped and they both had 2 hemipenes. I never asked for anything from Jeremy because it was my fault for losing his contact info - not his. At this point I'm just out a female patternless bull and there is really nothing more to discuss. If you people wish to continue to beat a dead horse - knock yourselves out. I know more about military installations than most of you on here as I spent 28 years of my life working on the flight line as a flight mechanic. It is these type of - for lack of other words - stupid questions/accusations that make this site the laughing stock of the reptile world. As far as I am concerned - this matter is over. I do not feel the need to continue to beat a dead horse. The snakes should have been sexed properly and not sent infested with mites. My fault for not dealing with it immediately and I have been consistant in posting this fact.

If there were 2 serious issues, mites and incorrectly sexed snakes, why wouldn't you ask Robert for the info again? I don't know a single person who would receive the wrong item they bought or traded for that wouldn't immediately contact the person who sent it. I'm sorry but you opened up this can of worms, and waiting months to do so just makes you look even more suspicious. Even if you didn't have his contact info you could have posted it here immediately. I'm pretty sure you have added yourself to a lot of people's "do not do business with" lists. Is that worth a free snake? Maybe being honest about why you posted this will help.

I've known Jeremy for well over 10 years and can honestly say that Jeremy is one of the nicest most standup people I've ever met. For each of the last three years I have purchased animals from Jeremy to sell in Daytona on my table. I have no problem doing this because I know how his animals are taken care of. This story has changed many times and in my opinion has absolutely zero credibility behind it. I can certainly tell you one person I'll never do business with, and their name ISN'T Jeremy... It's terrible that we can't get this turned into a good guy post which is what it sounds like the majority feels Jeremy is!!!

I would not worry about your friends reputation, it is very clear to everyone who has participated in this thread who the bad guy is. Regardless of the title of the thread, anyone worth doing business with will read the whole thing and come to the same conclusion. I believe this is the only bad guy post about Jeremy and the lack of proof, shows that the OP is delusional about who is at fault.

If I were into bull snakes, I would not hesitate to buy from Jeremy.

I'm not even sure the pictured snake was yours, but it is simply beyond belief that you would take a picture of a snake with mites (no proof that it was the snake you got) and not hemipenes when you received the snakes.

You wanted bullsnakes so instead of buying them you went out and collected some rattlesnakes then traded them to a guy who wanted rattlesnakes but didn't have any bullsnakes, so then he went on the Internet and ordered bullsnakes (amazing he didn't just give you the $ and let you guy them?) then somehow you were at his house when the UPS truck arrives with a snake covered in mites but you completed the trade anyway and didn't post anything for months, then you saw Jeremy posted an AD and decided to post a photo of the snake with mites on it. Do you see how anyone might think your story is a bit strange and the lengthy timelines and the fact that you've tried to hide a lot of details?

I am sure I got what Jeremy sent because I opened the box the day it arrived. The collector who made the purchase only paid for them, so I opened the box and was the first to see them. I am not skilled at popping neonate snakes, but they were popped in front of me and both popped as males. The xanthic did not have any visible mites but was treated anyway as a precaution.

Initially, that was what I wondered too, but since I haven't ever done business with anyone involved I decided to keep my mouth shut and see how everything played out.
As things stand now, I don't know who to believe (well, besides Jeremy, as he has provided screen shots that support his assertions).
Susan seems over-the-top with the vitriol, and Robert's lack of input seems very very shady to me.
Honestly? My only question is if Robert scammed Susan, or if Susan is trying to scam Jeremy. Well....they could be in on it together too, I suppose...
