In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recently sold three Jayapura green tree pythons to Jim. He committed to the animals and, shortly thereafter, paid for them. Looking at the weather, it was better to postpone shipping the animals until the weather improved. We ended up delaying shipping for almost three weeks. Jim's main concern was to ensure the animals arrived safely with as little risk to them as possible. This showed me that he really cares about his animals.

Jim' word is excellent with me and I have no doubts that the animals will be well cared for. :)

Congratulations to both of you. It's really nice to find people that think first about the well-being of the animals. Best of lucks in the future!

Kindly.

Well, his transaction with me was one of the easiest smoothest transactions I have done. It is nice when everybody feels that things went great.

Thanks again Jim!! How are they doing?
Brian :) :) :)

Jimbo is an interesting character to say the least.

Personally I think he's ok, perhaps a tad.... shall we say "shy" about certain forums here, but if he had something for sale I wanted I would not hesitate to buy it and if I had something for sale he wanted I wouldn't hesitate to sell it.

While not all of the good guys see eye-to-eye as it were, we are all on the same page as far as what's good and what's not. I'd say he's a good guy too.

Thank you Wes. If our disagreements come about honestly then our agreements will be many!

Peace to you.

Coolness! Not all of us see eye to eye...but hell's bells...who agrees with anyone all of the time? Glad all the top notch herpers are able to talk face to face, or at least pc/pc, and work out differences!!!
I am in such a good mood, I am going to have a cold one and toast all of you!

I have never had a transaction with Jim...either buying or selling...but I definitely would not hesitate to do so.

Jim is a very nice person...and has unflinching moral character. A true gentleman in every sense of the word.

I would trust his word in any business exchange, in any capacity.

After always seeing Jim post around the forums, it was nice to finally do a transaction with him. He purchased a lot of lobster roaches from me. Great communication, and a nice customer to deal with. Thank you!

I also have sold snakes to Jim.
Jim, you might have to help me out what it was you got (I think albino garters)
I do remember we had some communications that were very pleasant.
I know he's been by the table a few times and always stops to chat.
He's a dream buyer. You know he cares and that the animals will be in good hands.
I know in business you can't always be sure that someone will do right by your animals so it's always good when you leave a treansaction with a guy like Jim.
I look forward to seeing you at the next show, Jim.

Thanks everyone. Gino, they were albino checkered garters and they are doing great!

Dang, go away for a week and miss such a great thread.

Jim is "great people"!!!!

After searching around and talking to many many people about getting a snake. I talked to Jim and will 100% getting one from him. I look forward to the transaction and can't wait till we get a deal worked out.

Thanks Jim :)

There is a reason that Jim is getting all of these positive responses, and that is because he ahs earned them! I just had the great pleasure of finishing up a deal with Jim. He is a GREAT communicator, by both phone and e-mail. he wasts no time with payment, and he is just a great guy to talk to. I sold him a female Snow Rosy Boa and a male amel het for snow.

I decided to switch out the ratio (after informing him first) and send him a male snow and a female amel het snow. I thought it would help him in his breeding efforts, in that he could breed his male snow to a few normal females and make definite double het for snow offspring in 2007. It hurt my ratio to do it because I ended up with 5.1 amels that were het for snow. It would have been very nice to sell one of those males with a female Snow like we originally agreed. It would be much less productive for him, but less competition for me later on down the line (breeder thinking).

So you may ask yourself why in the heck would I do that? My answer is because Jim is the kind of guy that deserves it. When you do a deal with Jim you just want to do the best you can for him. If I had a better female ratio, I would have most likely sent him an extra one with the pair (maybe next year my ratio will improve). Jim, you are the best!
