In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Info Joe Bryant (Fastz28) use caution!

Hope it works out. I do want to say though, I can't believe no one has pointed out that insulating with bubble wrap is a REALLY dumb idea considering that is like wrapping the snake in plastic wrap. Ya can't breath through plastic. That has got to be one of the worst packing jobs I've ever seen.

wow, nice clean post from the seller. comes off as a real sweetheart. i hope all goes well with you two and everything gets solved.

Due to some irresponsible shippers, UPS has directed our customers to temporarily stop shipping snakes with ShipYourReptiles.com.

We are working hard to reinstate safe snake shipping for our customers and the entire reptile community.

Other types of UPS-approved non-venomous reptiles — including geckos, lizards and turtles — may be shipped with ShipYourReptiles.com.

To make your shipments easy, we recommend you drop off your packages at a Staples or Office Depot shipping counter.

We will keep you updated on this matter.

Thanks for your patience and support,

-- Robyn and the ShipYourReptiles.com team

Wonder who we may have partially to thank for that! Thanks toolbag! :shootfoot

Adam, SYR did not mention any names nor did they place blame on any specific person.

So it's just a coincidence then that a couple weeks prior to UPS stopping us from shipping any snakes that this guy let a snake (a retic no less) escape somewhere in a UPS facility or truck? I'm not saying there couldn't have been other cases but it sure does seem like a little more than a coincidence to me.

Being that they used the word "shippers" and not "shipper", I would tend to think that there is more than one. Now, I do know that if he in fact sent a snake in that packaging, he is part of the problem however accusing someone when SYR made no remarks about WHO specifically that it was is wrong.

This.

Greg Im sorrry to hear you had to go through this I hope everything resolves it selfself and the seller is serious about the refund. I have to agree Greg and everyone else when I say the packaging method used was horrible.

We can only hope that this is and was his last and only snake to ever ship! The whole packing job was great if your shipping waded up news paper....!

He shipped it FedEx (for the record). So far none of the repayment money has arrived yet either. I'll give him through the weekend.

Shouldn't you be saying something, Adam?

Well, I just read this whole thread and I can tell you this. I was introduced to Greg and his wife several years ago by my buddy Ben at one of the reptile shows here in Florida. I can tell you that Greg would never lie about something like this. I have never seen Greg's retic collection, but my buddy Ben has told me about it. If anyone even thinks that Greg would try to pull a fast one here, you had better guess again. Especially for a measly $200.00.

Greg and his wife are some of the nicest and friendliest people you could ever meet.

I can't believe the way the seller shipped the snake, and the circumstances surrounding the whole thing. Notice I said shipped the snake. lol

Now my opinion (I love this part) lol

I think he chose two day shipping because he knew the snake would not die during transit, because the snake was never in the box to begin with. I believe it was a staged event from the beginning. This way it looks like the shipping company beat up the box, blah blah blah, and oh no, the snake got loose.

The creativity of scammers never ceases to amaze me. They always seem to think they are smarter then everyone else.

Greg, I really hope you get your money back. Somehow I get the feeling he is just blowing smoke, but I hope I am wrong. Good luck.

Latest update: Joe Bryant (Fastz28 on here and other forums) has never made a single repayment to me for the lost albino retic and now his phone is no longer a working number. If anyone happens to know him or finds him online somewhere tell him to drop me a line (I won't hold my breathe).
