In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Inquiry Joe Capone / Clark Tucker Powerhouse Reptiles - purchased snake but where are they?

I am not defending anyone in this situation,Just sharing my experience. last year I bought a beautiful vpi axanthic lesser female from Powerhouse/Clark/Joe. He worked out a nice payment plan with me and always stayed in touch with me. Based on my experience I would do business with him again, but I will absolutely take this thread into consideration. She is one of the best looking snakes in my racks. I am sorry you are going through this situation and I hope that everything gets sorted out quickly for you.

Warning: Mr Oakley,
If you cannot manage to compose a relevant post, don't fake it with a bump. That nonsense hasn't even been allowed in the classifieds for a few years, so it shouldn't have taken much thought to realize it wasn't going to fly here

As I'm already aware you hhmoore will find anything you can (no matter how petty) to say that I'm doing something wrong whenever I make a post.

You made that pretty clear on my last BOI post when a guy sent me a very underweight, dehydrated snake, shipped it with no insulation and with ice packs in 60° weather. The snake was almost dead upon arrival. You jumped at the chance to post and make sure everyone knew that in my past I had shipped incorrectly too and don't forget "that's Matt's bowl in the picture" lol. None of that had any direct relevance to my post but you sure felt compelled to say it.

I very openly admitted that I had made mistakes in my methods years ago when I was a teenager and just starting out. You made sure you pointed out that being young and new to the hobby was no excuse.

I have corrected things and for YEARS have been shipping at industry standard or above and have received many complements from my customers but yet you continue to sit there and look for faults or any other thing you can find to insult my intelligence by using phrases like, "you were a slow learner, "if you cannot manage to compose a relevant post," and "it shouldn't have taken much thought to realize it wasn't going to fly here" like I'm incompetent or something.

Knowing your intensions I hardly feel compelled to even respond to you as I know you'll just be looking for more faults and I'll definitely never stoop to your level and attempt to throw insults back at you making myself also look like just as much of an idiot. So if giving me a stupid warning because I bumped my inquiry makes you feel powerful and enriches your day go right ahead. You don't upset me the least bit and it's pretty sad that you have continued to make these efforts for the past however many years.

I bumped the post to see if anyone else may have some info or be able to pass the word to these guys as I have still not heard anything or been able to contact them. I sent them over $700 for a snake and have nothing. My only fault in this is using your site to assist me in my goal.

If you wanted to make a special request for further info, you could have done so. A plain unadorned bump puts your post on top of everyone else's, that doesn't look fair because they have their own issues they are trying to deal with.
Using this site and then being snarky about it isn't going to help your cause. If you don't care for the site, leave.

Well thanks for the feedback. My bump wasn't meant to be disrespectful to anyone else. In the future I will not. I've been on this site for 8 years, it's run how it's run. One person won't make me feel the need to leave.

Nobody is asking you to leave, Matt...but your spin on that other thread has a definite hing of butthurt (as does your commentary here). Yes - I commented on your past, but I gave you credit for improving. I pointed out it was your bowl because another member referenced the image you posted - commenting that if he'd seen it, he never would have purchased.
Those posts had nothing to do with moderation, they were my thoughts about the situation in the thread...you conveniently failed to mention that I said the other person was wrong, and was openly critical of him.

My only prior post in this thread was made in my role as a moderator of this site...and, if policy allowed it, I would simply have removed your bump & PMd you an explanation. That post was in no way saying you were wrong for telling your story here, or favoring Capone & Clark. If you had posted what you (now) say you meant, I wouldn't have had reason to comment.

Now, to bring this back on topic,
I hope this situation is quickly resolved, and you receive the snake you purchased (and that it is in the best of health)
