hi this is joe haggard,i did not ask eric to sign on to back me up on anything.i told him to read what matt said and that was all.if you look back eric made a comment to matt saying he never said anything bad about matt.he made his own decision to make any comments.as far as matt is concerned i am not mad at him and i wish him the best with his boas.as far as the rest of you people are concened either shut your mouths up and mind your own business or reply to other posts and leave us alone.i dont come to fauna to talk to people who pick at peoples faults,i come here to meet other reptile keepers.so once again i will wright this dont judge people by how they talk or spell when you have faults also.thank you joe haggard

adam, eric and i both live in illinois.i live in creve coure and he lives in canton.we only live about 30 miles from each other.thank you for setting this straight. as far as the person who said my provider had a laugh of off me when we got off the phone,i talked to him in person and you were the one he laughed about.he said if you were such a know it all you would have not made so many stupid comments.i had him go to this forum and read it for himself.so what do you have to say now,gee maybe you dont know it all afterwards.thank you joe haggard

joepythons, i wasnt picking at anyone faults. its honestly hard to follow a big rambling 20+ sentence post though. i didnt bash your spelling, but you bash other peoples spelling. i was merely pointing out how your post look identical to one anothers. sorry you have a cheap isp that binds every user to one ip.

ken pointed that out that 2 people were posting from one adresss, which is far to common here. judging from looking at both post they looked the same, which makes it more odd.

astaley, would apply to anything they do on the net like ftp's, irc and video games too right? that would suck if that does i know several other things that wont allow the same ip to connect twice.
also if you dont mind me asking what all does it take for someone to become network engineer? im curious cause im trying to study for the net+ and the server+ exam.

I did...I was under the impression that you sold him a "ball python", and maybe had not been specific as to "wc" or "ch" or "cb"...they all can entail different levels or care and experience...If it had "a mild case of RI" it's his fault for buying it, and he screwed himself...like I said, lesson learned...

no joe, i dont know it all. know more than you for shure though, obviosly you didnt either or you would have explained that your isp binds everyones ip to 1 ip.

WRONG. you can easily do that, one logged in using internet explorer another logged in using mozilla, opera or any other brand browser.

the only possible explanation they could come up with is since we both have family video and we both have yahoo as our home page and we are on the same forum but on separate computers it must be something about our area or yahoo.

NOT a bit of that makes since. how would a hompage affect what adress your isp assigns to your pc. that suposidly came out the tech's mouth?

that is what you claim the tech said, instead of what astaley said. it makes sense compared to the stuff you posted and claimed. it even crossed my mind, but i doubted it cause the post looked identical. if one would have been perfect and the other one like how it is, then you would have been believed.

It does apply to all services. Its kind of hard to explain, but in a nutshell, the end servers know the difference. As far as what it takes to be a network engineer, I suppose just knowledge of networking and networking equipment, and convincing a potential employer that you know what you’re doing. Certifications help, but there are plenty of people out there who are certified for whatever and have no clue. Best thing I can say is read read read. Best of luck to you

Going back to the subject...

O.K. Let's say them two are the same people. It just could have been a wrong desicion he took into defending himself which could be proven wrong by talking to these 2 people seperately over the phone or whatever. Matt even stated that Joe had a friend involved. How about we try to go back to what the thread was originally about which was one of a 15 year old boy making strong accusations of a reptile breeder which could anger anyone who is trying to keep a clean rep. I don't like quotations rules so I will not imply them, sorry. Joe said that his mistake was selling to a kid that had little experience over reptiles. If he knew the kids experience before selling him the snake then he should have never even thought about making the deal with him. These are the consequences. Sorry Joe. Based on what Matt has said over how he dealt with the snake when he saw it was sick, I definitely do feel that it was, by a very but very great degree, Matt's fault. The changing of a reptiles environment is in most cases a factor that will leave them very stressed and therefore causing them to not eat for days which obviously most people here are aware of. I suggest that before continuing posting threads like crazy, that everyone first goes back to the thread posted by Matt of how he dealt with the snake as soon as he thought it was sick which could give strong explanations of why he died. I have seen a couple of people here try to give some of these explanations, but were ignored because to some people the main focus is now whether or not Joe and Eric are or aren't the same person.

i agree kathy, that does seem to be what happened here. he probably got it tried to feed it constantly, cause we all know how the "kids" love seeing a snake eat. speaking of which i would love to comment on this since i lost tack..

So, I got it. I had had ball pythons before but little did I know that this one was going to be sick. Well it was. He had RI when Joe brought him to my house but it wasn't severe at the time so I didn't know he had it. Well, a few days later I noticed that he had it so I upped the temps in his cage and lowered the humidity. That still didn't cure it so I came to Clay English's forum (http://forum.redtailboas.com) and asked for help. The posts are in the past if you'd like to check them out. Anyway, I heard about Tylan 200 there for treating RI. I called the vet and made an appointment. We took him to the vet and they gave him a shot of Baytril (they didn't have any tylan) and sent him home. After a couple days he still had it so we made the trip down to a local farm store to get Tylan 200. The vet got the dosage and gave him the shots. That *seemed* to clear up the RI.

i would say its his fault 100%. he went out got help from others, then went out and got other medication despite what his vet gave him. i also note the pluralization on pythons and before. this would lead me to assume several other died in his care as only his 15 years old and could have not possibly raised one for as long as they live.

like i said before if a kid at 15 establishes himself as a bad herp owner to people at a reptile show then i wouldnt have sold him crickets even..........

Hello everyone! I am new here just to let you know. I just wanted to say a lil something something. The reason I am writing is because the people on here that think that JOE HAGGARD and ERIC are the same person, well they ARE NOT!! The reason I know this is because ERIC is my HUSBAND! I know how people on here are and what they are going to say. Let me guess... supposedly me (ANDREA), JOE, and ERIC are all one person now?? I'm just sick of this crap and people saying that they are the same person when they are two totally different people! JOE lives in Creve Coure and ERIC lives in Canton... So I thought I would just let ya'll know that ERIC and JOE are NOT the same person, they are just good friends!

As far as people saying this crap about using the same computer... It's called having the same INTERNET PROVIDER!! Which both ERIC and JOE have said how many times before that they go through FAMILY VIDEO. Alot of people use FAMILY VIDEO for their Internet Service! Does that mean that everyone that uses Family Video all use the same computer with the same IP address??? I think that is very impossible to do (everyone using the same computer), but if you don't think so I would like to see it okay?? Anyways... I think that some people on here that like to talk their crap really don't know their A** from a hole in the ground, but that's just my opinion and I think I have a right to voice it!

The last thing that I would like to mention would be... Why don't you go back to the beginning when MATT first posted the crap that he did?? He states right in there that JOE and his "TALL FRIEND", but didn't know his name! Well, that "TALL FRIEND" of JOE'S would just so happen to be ERIC. I think he may refer to him as "TALL" because he is 6'10". Like I said I should know who is who because I am with ERIC. You can believe me or not I really don't care. I just thought that I would get on here to say something because I had been watching what had been written. Well... I have said what I wanted to say! For now at least!!! Thanks......... i have a question for the moderator

i see i now have 8 warning levels,i apoligized for snapping on your moderator but it seems we are carrying this to far.i am being warned twice for not placing my full name .i have since reading the first warning placed my full name.but it does not matter i just recieved another warning what is the reason for this one.i come to this sight to look at other posts and maybe find other people to talk about reptiles.but since a posts saying i was a bad person was placed on a forum,i have been made fun of for my grammer,called a lier,told i am two people.and no matter how many people made positive comments all you care about is what i say.how would you feel if people who have never met you start running there mouth and putting you down.i admitted i was wrong for telling you to mind your own business but i was very mad at that time.if this is how new members are treated now i know why i have never heard of faunaclassifieds.as far as the warning leval is does that stay like that forever or does it go away ?thank you for taking the time and reading this.and this is for anyone who feels they should say their stupid comments like they have been doing so far(mind your own business)

Lucille, by calling someone a crybaby, I do believe is lacking maturity yourself. Personal insults are not the way to go which goes for you and many others that have chosen to take the path of just attacking a reptile breeder that is only trying to defend himself. Joe can have a split personality for all I care. As I said before, he could have been just trying to defend himself or whatever. This computer situation could be solved but as far as I am concerned it has nothing to do with what the original thread was about. People are using this forum as a battlefield against one man who was being initially attacked by a 15 year old boy called Matt that had little experience with snakes. For those who have enjoyed arguing without taking the time to read the initial threads, please do so and then speak you piece. The boy took the wrong measures into treating the snake when he saw it was sick, he had changed the snakes location several times and when he saw the poor thing not eating, which is now self explanatory, he proceeded to make a couple of wrong desicions into helping the animal. Again, lack of experience.
Joe, what was your mistake was selling to a minor. Like established by me and Mike, if you knew the kid had little experience then you should have not sold him the snake to begin with or even crickets. These are the consequences even if you were trying to do a good deed, sorry Joe.
The snake was established to be sick 2 weeks after the purchase, this is a correction to all those that thought Matt had purchased the snake knowing it was already sick.
Go back to the thread posted by Matt, see where he had the snake and how he kept changng its location. Then read the measures he took into dealing with the snake when he thought it was already sick.
Joe, quit giving explanations of whether you and Eric are or aren't the same person. I feel this is now humoring people but most important, it is a subject that goes off of what the initial thread was truely about. I understand why you are angry so it doesn't seem unreasonable to me for you to be defending yourself the way you are. All you are doing is trying to keep a good reputation. If you see people continuing focusing on other things and continue giving personal insults then just stop writing. For what I have already observed, no matter what you say, people are going to continue arguing over something new.

this is to kathyedg,i want to thank you for being one of the ones who replied to this thread that had a leval head.i just am sick and tired of people where i live saying i took advantage of matt,i am also fed up with the few that made responsise to this thread that did not have anything to do with the subject ie(my grammer,i am two people)i just tried to give a chance to a kid who seemed he loved reptiles as much as i do.we all needed someone to give us a chance as we all were begginers at one time.i am no longer a member of the herp club where i met matt because of the way they talk about certain people and this does include matt.i know this has nothing to do with this thread topic but i thought i would mention a few reasons i tried to help matt out.because of this problem i no longer sell or give any reptiles to anyone under 21.where we live i have alot of young people who say they love reptiles and have begged me to give them a chance but no matter how much they beg or how much they want to pay i tell them no and then i tell them why i said no.i am not into this hobby to make money,i just love reptiles.thank you for reading this

This forum has now become a playground. There are millions of explanations Mike, it doesn't matter whether you are willing to stick up for him or not, that really doesn't matter. This situation is based on the facts stated by Matt on how he dealt with the snake. There are a couple of things that Matt also said that can accuse him of a lier as well. But well, since we are having so much fun attacking Joe, why stop now? Who really cares what all the initial posts said anyways right? Just in case, that was sarcasm. Joe's mistake was selling to an inexperienced boy. Several people here have already come out and pointed the mistakes Matt made toward the snake. Let's all stop taking out our anger on eachother which is now what has obviously become the case and lets give closure to this topic now before it gets dragged even further. Like I said, it has become a battlefield.

i agree kathy it has became rather childish. i wasnt even looking for a fight myself when i made my first post here, i agreed it was the kids fault and still do. i was just curious as to the nature of joe and erics post's that was all, they attacked me. it lead me to think there was something to hide, if i was only to look at his isp's website way earlier i wouldnt still be here commenting.

as i said before in previous post the kid said he owned pythons before. so i would assume he owned 2 or more pythons by the time he was 15.

i dont know much about snakes, but dont pythons live for 5+ years? living creatures are not a trial and error thing. obviously he doesnt understand this.

i know many reptile horror stories, so i can believe what joe says and i agree its damaging that because of a 15 y/o kids improper husbandry he blames the seller for it.

all i have to say it way mainly between the buyer and the seller for it. the buyer mentions a description of the sellers friend and they sign up to argue too. no one knew who he really was until that moment, and was never involved in the transaction in the first place. therefore didn't need to have made any comments.

joe also said he told him about the comment being on here, he almost dug his own grave here with it too. if the rare oddity that happened here didnt happen none of us would have had a issue with ip adresses. this would not have developed into war if he would have calmly called his isp to ask questions, instead of taking his bold stance and blowing up on everyone who questioned it.
