yes i infact have gotten alot of great deals from him he is a great guy and has top notch reptiles in better condition from most other people i have seen i give highly recomend him..

GREAT JOB!!! Joe Johnson is the same guy that ripped off my buddy Ken Hilton last year. I e-mailed Ken about this post, but he's on the road a lot and didn't respond yet.

I believe Joe took him for an albino black rat snake in a trade and never sent his half. I would use exreme caution with this individual. I believe there was a post about this on the old board, but I can't get back there.
 
ken hilton sent me a burm that was mite infested and he also sent a dead corn snake when i recieved them i noticed this and then sent them back a few days later this is ripping someone.. off and john i didnt get you address send it to me so i can get you snake to you

Oh, but it most certainly does, especially considering the writing styles are identical. The exact same grammatical errors that appear in your posts are repeated in that reply. Same computer, same writing style...kinda makes you wonder.

Interesting how a story changes in a year's time. Here's what was posted on the topic one year ago:

Tell us, if you couldn't live up to your end of the trade due to shipping regs, then how is it that you sent the snakes back "a few days later? Then, of course, there's the nasty little detail of Ken still trying to contact you one month after the deal to either get his money or snake.

Joe,  What snake are you going to get to me? I don't suppose it is the Woma's that you have since promised to someone else on the classifieds page? Appearantly, the reason you have not responded to my e-mails is not because you haven't been on the computer. I had the gut feeling that this deal was too good to be true. Thank you BOI and Ritchie for bringing this to light for me.
 
The way I met Joe was when he responded to one of my ads about a retic I believe. I said I would trade for Southern or eastern hognose, and he magically had a friend who bred them...even southerns!!! "in all colors"

Now, any hognose persons know that h. simus is nearly impossible to find! It took me three years to find the 2 pairs I have now.

I asked for pics, and he said they had no digi cameras available. I then asked for him to ship first, and he said no.  This put up the red flag. I knew he was lieing about everything. He said he would trade if we shipped the same day, but that would be way too easy for a scumbag to fake.

My buddy Ken agreed to ship the same day, and low and behold, The Python Hunter from FL (Fl's crawling with pythons like Jersey's crawling with Taiwan beauties)!  made an excuse, and Ken never saw his stuff again!

It looks like someone has been saved because of his board yet again! Great job, everybody!

This is for Joe - It never ceases to amaze me that someone could be selling approximately 8 thousand dollars worth of snakes (a pair of four foot Womas and a pair of four foot Blackheads), yet not have photos of them or access to a digital camera.  Now with a cheap digital running all of $40, wouldn't it make sense to increase your chances of selling the "high-end" pythons by purchasing or borrowing a digitial ?  Heck, you can grab a scanner nowadays for about 10 bucks at a garage sale.  As for the BOI giving you great reviews, well if in fact you did post for yourself to boost your reputation bet you didn't count on Ritchie pouncing on it so quickly <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
