    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I can see where people spiral out of control on here.. In life, you have options.. Each option leads to a certain consequence.. Of the two options between paying Alan on time or late, I choose the consequence of not paying him on time.

'Round and 'round we go, where we'll stop, nobody knows...... I can see your signature is semi correct, I already said Alan will be paid. He knows he will, that's why he stopped responding.. Now, if you'd like to stretch this thread 10 pages more than it should be, I'm game. I have morals, I promise.. I also have priorities.. Did I contest the fact that I owe Alan money? NO! Hell, our agreement was in instant message, I could've blown the whole thing off and denied the accusations.. I have no problem sitting back and having rotten fruits thrown at me, I almost deserve it but I will NOT be smacked in the face.. You type your words strong and then wiggle your way out of them.. First you say "Joe is a scumbag, bottom of the barrel" and when I snapped, you come back and say "Joe acted like a scumbag" to make me look worse... Two completely different things being one and acting like one in a situation.. I must've left my bible at Matt's house.

After all, he did tell you "See you next Tuesday". Which is neither a threat, nor a promise, if my oldschhol book of ghetto slang is correct, but an insult. I believe "See " replaces "c", "You " replaces "u", and then you just use the first letters of the last 2 words in the phrase (n t) to finish a faux acronym.

Anyway, to all of those who have come here to tell Joe he is a bad guy for not paying the deabt already, I commend you. I think it is awesome that you are so in control of your lives that you have NEVER had to chose between family situations, and prior commitments. It must be grand.
Joe knows he owes the money, and will pay it. I know that, and I really belive Alan knows it as well. It would have been nice, when he was unable to pay immediately to explain that.It is Joes choice how much explaining needs to be done. I know what is going on in his life, as I talk to him on the rare occasion that he makes it online (We used to talk for hours a day). I don't think any of it needs to be shared here to justify his decision. It was also Joe's decision not to share with Alan.It is personal. That is what lead to this thread. I understand why it was posted. I understand that some will never really know how sometimes you just don't have the money , even though it is right there in your hand. I also know that Joe is a good hearted guy, who if you ever get the good fortune of dealing with him, will bend over backwards to help out in any way he can, WHEN HE CAN.
This will be resolved shortly. It's too bad that Alan had to be left in the dark, and that he had to wait for the money he thought Joe had.

Wes, what makes you think Alan would pay Steve anything even if he received what he is owed? According to Alan, the matter with Steve is closed and Alan feels it was handled appropriately. I find it disturbing that Alan brings this here after only a few weeks but can't understand why his customers would come here after waiting months. I would support putting pressure on Joe if I thought Steve would be compensated in the outcome but I do not think Alan's interest truly lie with others, especially Steve. At least Joe admits he owes Alan and states he intends to pay him. This is a lot more than Alan has done in Steve's situation.

Yes Alan owes Steve but that issue is seperate from Joe owing Alan unless Alan asks Joe to pay back Steve on his behalf.
This looks like one bad guy robbing another bad guy.

I know he will get paid, he knows he will get paid and that's all I give a damn about.. You can attepmt to tarnish my almost nonexistent reputaion to get your jollys off and feel big but what can you say about my snake sales? NOTHING!! Every one of my customers got a great deal on their purchases. You don't wanna buy from me, that's your choice and your loss... my next 2 litters a almost presold out, many of them to return customers.. Take care!

Im so glad everyone one knows what alan thinks and joe thinks . Im perfectly content with joes reply. As i said and have left a message for Joe if he has told me but now he has and thats to me is all i need. to everyone else who seems to be keyboard lawyers and right click judges think what you will it does not change the fact that joe has responded to me and with that i trust his word you can twist and spew antagonizing comments all you like for kicks n giggles shows great maturity .

I never asked Joe to pay and i think joe knows that also Steve has been paid he accepted now that the pulpit is demanding other things im sorry .

Steve could have simply paid the shipping and got two cages but he was strapped for cash and he couldnt. I told him that any later date i would still do that for him but shipping needed to be paid. so with that im dont once with this thread as Joe has stated his intentions and as a friend as i see joe i trust that. enough said case closed for me Joe no worries i know things happen beyond our control and accept that to bad others cant see past the 15 mins of fame they seek on every thread thats posted on the BOI

If you never asked Joe to pay.....WTF was the point of the thread? Didn't you ask him to pay in those original emails you posted?

And when was Steve paid?

And no, I don't think any of us fancy ourselves lawyers or judges (except those of us who actually are such)...we only have the facts given to us to make an educated decision as a consumer, and it's pretty plain to me what decision to make in this scenario. There's just too many trustworthy cage builders out there who would have made things right a LONG time ago, without asking for even more money, to take a chance buying from you. :shrug01:

Alan starts a thread about being owed money to by Joe Lydon and Alan ends the thread by stating that Joe keeps and sells mite infested snakes and no one should buy from him. Joe and Alan yap back and forth about it in a few emails like two school girls and now Alan and Joe are BOYS again because it was just a small misunderstanding that Alan can forgive Joe for?

Didn't Rich toss this Alan fella once before just because he felt like it? Cant it be done again? This thread was a total waste between two wastes. It was a total insult to the BOI and the folks who value the BOI as vital decision making tool for good and successful business. Nothing Joe or Alan seem remotely familiar with.

Looks like you have it Chuck. Basically the whole thread was a misunderstanding between two friends. Since when do friends start threads on Fauna to collect money they were promised LOL. Just too much Drama :ack2:

LOl I don't think that thread is going anywhere. Alot of people are still upset over his treatment of Steve
