Joe Pierce (BAD GUY)

I am not going to link a different forum here, but, Joe Pierce is posting on a different forum. One that he apparently thinks represents the online reptile community. Apparently he has no intention of coming to this forum and explaining his actions or addressing those that need to be addressed. I know there are people outside of the forum that he is posting on that have not been treated fairly by Mr. Pierce.

I wanted to start this thread so everybody who has ever purchased a snake from me, who has learned that it is not heterozygous for the genes I sold them years later have a place to come and present their story. I only want to hear from my customers who I have sold snakes to directly. If the snakes were resold and your customer had problems with their hets, let me know about this as well. I also know of one of my customers who has a claim that I sent him Corns that carried a parasite and he had problems as a result of this. I would like to talk about his claim here as well.

You will be treated with the utmost respect by myself, and the policies of *** *** will be followed to the letter. I will need the year I sold you the snakes, the description of the snakes, such as Normal het this or that, and any information that I provided you about their clutch numbers, so I will have the opportunity to find the breeding that produced them. I will also need the email address that you used to communicate with me, so I can find our communications and refresh my memory. I also want to know about your results, that show, they are not het for the genes I stated.

If you have a complaint of hets sold by me that proved to not be het, please post your complaints here so myself and the Corn Snake Community, can discuss them in an open forum that requires everybody to post in a civil manner. Let us know what you expect from me to compensate you for your dissatisfaction with your purchase from me.

Susan, let everybody you know of that did not get what they paid for from me, about this thread. I will not respond on other forums, because they do not require posts to be civil, promote a tabloid environment and allow personal unsubstantiated attacks.

I too have some animals from Joe that het's didn't prove out. I've written them off as a loss & lesson well learned. Any respect that I had for Joe is long gone.

I had guessed that he had been in prison, since it was almost exactly 18 months to the day before he resurfaced.
I know i won't ever do business with him, there are so many people out there that I DO trust.
I have an amazing lava het blood I got from Carol,......if you want a lava I know of several other trustworthy people, Joe is not the one and only!

I have visited the BOI and many other types of forums and each time I do, it is like walking into a room of people with similar interest. Topics vary, post can be simple or complex, but the mood in the room is easily felt. The personality of the people in the room speaking to each other soon becomes apparent as well as the cultural environment they have grew up in.

I have met a lot of people on forums that I know I will like the first time I meet them. I have also met a lot of people on the forums that I know I would not to want to interact with. I run into enough of them already in my day to day life. I certainly would not want to be in the same room with them or make purchases from them.

Personal attacks against people are unacceptable to me. I don’t like bully’s that are aggressive towards people and use fear to get what they want. People who cut in line, or beg for money while you are trying to eat at a restaurant. I don’t like people who use personal attacks in an attempt to make themselves look better, or the competition to look worse. I like nice normal civilized people.

I have met a lot of people in our Corn Snake Community and they come from many different cultures. Forums are becoming a very big part of our Corn Snake Community. What type of Community do you want to be a part of and what direction would you like to see it go? Do you want to be in a room with civilized people that talk and learn about Corn Snakes, or do you want to be in a room with a bunch of poop slinging monkeys that benefits no one, except someone counting hits on a site? Do you want to buy your Corn Snakes from anybody who conducts themselves in manner?

Most forums conduct themselves in a very civil manner, but some allow personal attacks and behavior usually only allowed at Zoos. I would not be proud to be included in this group. This is not the direction I would like to see our Corn Snake Community go.

O, I dunno...A community were individuals are held accountable for their actions. A community where we don't have to worry about someone semi-well-known ripping people off.

Funny thing is I have meet a lot a decent people outside the forums that are from the said forums.. Most people I like, and some well, IMHO am not to concerned or bothered to meet them again or not..

I like to think of myself as civil, and I will admit at times I get cranky and just plain irritated with the dealings and crap that goes on, but I would not be brave enough to carry water for someone that has left a really bad taste in the mouth of a lot of people.. IMHO, there are very few people I interact with as far as animals and dealings go, I tend to be picky about who I sell animals to and who I buy them from, and the list of the later and later keeps getting smaller..

I might be considered uncivilized or one of them poop flinging punkies, but I can gaurentee you one thing, I try my best to honestly take care of my business, because if I don't it goes a lot further than affecting me, it affects the commuity as a whole, and I am not that intrested in being so popular people just wanna cuss me out for pulling a quick buck flip ..

And when I asked him if he was going to respond to you (Tom), my post was deleted by Chuck/Connie, with the reply, of "take it to PM, or some other forum/the BOI". Why, because, I had not been personally screwed by Joe. Well I am starting to feel personally screwed by Joe now, at least by the owners of that site over there. Seriously, they want discussion to go to to a different forum. They are lying in the bed they are making. I really have no idea how that forum is even supporting itself.

Just a little word supporting Chuck and Connie since they were brought into this. Please note that I really don't like getting involved in these threads. I do not want to argue... but instead point out a perspective that may have been missed. Please note also that I am not OK with the way Joe acted.

Chuck and Connie didn't choose to have Joe come to their forum. But he did. They could have banned him, but why is it so bad that they are letting him at least get a chance to make amends. Joe doesn't want to come here because he probably thinks that he will continue to get bashed by the public and thus his attempt at amends would go nowhere.
So instead he went to another forum, started getting Rich his money, and tried to get the word out for all who have a problem with his business to come over there. If I understand it correctly, all people wanted from Joe was: 1. For him to come back "out of hiding" (as most considered it). 2. For him to make amends with Rich. 3. Offer to deal with the non-hets he sold. So he has done all three. I don't see what the big deal is that he won't do it on THIS single thread. He did it, just not where everyone wants? I say go over there and shoot him a PM and leave people like Chuck and Connie out of this thread (since the only reason they're in it is to ultimately bash another site because of Joe presence).

Joe has lost trust with a lot of people, and I therefore cannot say I that I support him. But I would like to see things get better. I think Chuck and Connie have tried to provide a way to get what the people want out of Joe, but without everywhere Joe ends up talking looking like this thread.
