    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recently wrapped up a deal with John Cherry of Cherryville farms. He was kind enough to letme pay in installments at the last minute after some unexpected issues (dental work w/out dental insurance=OUCH). I bought a group of 15 house snakes, 2 WS florida kings and a corn for a friend's niece.

He didn't charge on the corns and in fact threw in an extra--a pair of *really* nice Okeetee corns. Mykala will get off on the right foot in the snake world in large part thanks to Mr. Cherry. He also substituted some yearling house snakes for hatchlings since he didn't like the color mix of the hatchlings. They arrived healthy and whole, and I couldn't be happier.

John Cherry is a really nice fellow. I have known him for years.
His company name is Cherryville Farms, and I used to kid him and say i'm naming mine, Berryville Farms. I thought he was going to have a heart attack! LOL!

I know this is an old thread but I have to comment!

I have now done 2 transactions with John Cherry. He is wonderful to work with. He sends out his list of surplus and then I send him my list of what I want. The last time he found me the perfect breeding pair! They weren't even on his list. Both times he has been willing to meet me half way so I didn't have to drive so far. I will continue to use him for future purchaes and HIGHLY recommend him to all!

So glad you picked this thread up as John deserves all the credit he can get --- though he'd never ask for any! His animals are from some of the best lines in the country and his passion for the hobby evident.
As I look around my snake den I can tell you that I personally have at this time 18 snakes of 4 different kinds/species from John and I am thrilled with each and every one of them.
He was extremely helpful and compassionate in helping my son and I begin and grow our father/son business --- we still stay in touch with him and look to him first if we need something or have a question.
John has always accommodated our needs and gone above and beyond what one would expect in order to help us out and make our reptile experiences the BEST!! We continue to grow and learn --- and there is no better teacher or mentor than John Cherry in my opinion.
