No,I still did not receive a refund from Mr.JOHN aka JOHN CONSTANTINU.He really is something else.To his credit I will defend Rosendo though.He did take the time out for me.Iam really sorry to see that you believe what John told you.If other people are making complaints about him.Then add it up Rosendo.What do you think this guy is about???It has been more than a week!He told you I was going to be refunded.MR.JOHN,Where is the money???Mike,Iam sorry to see you are in the same predicament.I see you live in Florida.I WOULD PERSONALLY PAY HIM A VISIT.George,Apparently you seem to know alot.Thanks for defending alll of us that have been ripped off by him.I really do not believe I will ever be refunded by him.UNLESS I SEE HIM IN PERSON.
 
Below is a copy of the last email I sent John Constantino.
I have sent john many emails and he won't respond. It seems cowardice is another one of john's attributes.
To make a long story short
I own a cricket farm in Florida
Bill Schwinn referred John Constantino to me. John never paid his bill on time and in November 2002 He called me and said he was stopping his automatic weekly shipment of crickets because he was hibernating his animals. He asked his balance which is $264.00(12 weeks behind he was net 30 days) and said he would send a check in 2-3 weeks? Well everyone can guess I am still waiting almost two years later. He wouldn't return calls and in May of 2003 he answered his phone one day and said he would check with his wife and send a payment if he owed? I guess his caller ID wasn't working that day? Well everyone can guess I never got a check. I usually attend reptile shows( to collect money) and I will meet John one day.
What comes around goes around John. Just as I wrote in my email I am really curious if you are a prosperous man? Here is my last email, Come'on John respond?

Hey,Mike,Bill,Jeff,and everyone else that has been ripped off by him.The next show he is at I will pass out copies of all these posts to his customers.Right in front of him!What is he going to do?Nothing,That is right.One person was going to physically hurt him at a recent show(I will not say who).He almost started to cry.He got very scared and was on the verge of crying.Picture that! A grown man!He screamed for the police and security.We were laughing.My buddy told me he probably wet his pants!You are right Mike. John is a little coward.

I know Bill Werner , he's a great guy and customer, always been very honest and does what he says he'll do, I am appalled by this John guy, 1st off instead of buying reptiles off the net, namely hognoses from me, he needs to pay his debts 1st..wished I had known he ripped you Bill I would of sent his cash to you and told him his debt with you is settled.
Another person John ripped off was a very close and personal friend and customer Ted Hori.. this will blow your mind what this fella did to him.Took him for 3000.00!!!
John a few months ago had some spotted turtles for posted on the net, Ted contacted him to purchase them, he bought 20 adult spotted turtles and 14 adult mud turtls from him. John shipped him only the muds and claimed that the spotted were stolen out of the shipment.
Here's the kicker, the package weighed only 9lbs when delivered to UPS and this is a documented fact, the mud turtles weighed 8lbs total, allow 1lb for packaging. So wheres the spotties. John has since blown Ted off and won't respond to his calls or emails.Nor has he filed a police report or anything because he knows if investigated he's screwed.
Everyone involved in a bad deal with John please contact me, we are exploring legal action against him and already have a case # filed with the FBI, more people that contribute the faster we can nail this crook.My email is [email protected]
 
Well folks, I know John because I do many of the Repticon shows which he does also. He's at most of those shows, so perhaps if you need to speak to him, you could find him there. He's always seemed pretty nice to me, but I've dealt w/ him face to face.

Okay,I will reply when the check arrives.Iam upset about this.I never wanted this to go this far.Apparently Iam not the only that is upset.As one can see from the latest posts.Some others have their opinion.I wont say anymore because I already have pressed the GO button for others.I will say this I would be very surprised to receive the refund.What I said on my post is what I was told by other hobbyist and dealers.I never met the man or even know what he looks like.What I do know that is 100 PERCENT TRUE is that I was never refunded for $200.00.THat is a FACT.Lets see if it is a fact if John Constantinu is a man of his word.Time will tell.Rosendo,I emailed you my address.Let me know whether you received it please.

Well this is getting to be downright retarded. So it turns out that three of the main complainers are in fact the same person. And to top it off it is the person that started this thread in the first place. You have already been told that you would be getting your refund yet you go and post complaints and rude comments under two other names. John has tried to contact you for the past two days with no response. Where are you?? Why have you not tried to defend/explain yourself??? This says a lot about what kind of person you truly are. Is this just a personal vendetta or did someone put you up to doing this? And who gave you the idiotic idea of using different names to complain? Did you think the moderators wouldn't catch on?? Not to bright indeed. Well, since this entire thread has been a load of BS, I will just say good luck and I hope everything gets settled in an adult manner from here on out because up till now it has been very childish.

Even if it did happen the way he stated he still owes TED, not his fault, why hasn't a police report been filed etc...

I guess I ought to throw in my two cents.I know John and Bill,at least I talk to both of them,and even got in the middle.John says Bill got the check,Bill says hes out a couple of hundred bucks.Sh*t happens.

Someone did not do their homework,the other didn't do what he said he would.Happens all the time.

First fact is Bill sent money for shell that Constantinu agreed to hold.I know for a fact that John doesn't want to care for animals between shows,he is a reptile dealer,not a caregiver.

Second fact is the animals never got shipped.Whether this was whoevers fault is a mute point at this case.Did they die?Did they get resold?Who knows,it really doesn't matter.

The idea that someone would claim to have sent a refund is fine,but it has been months,time to send certified,as any dealer is only as good as his reputation.

My reality is this,I have bought and sold animals with John,and the negative experiences cancell out the good ones.Neutral,Would I buy from him again?Problably.Looking someone in the eyes when money changes hands means alot.

I have sold animals to Bill Werner.Taught him a lesson.You buy shell from me,you pay,I ship,within that timeframe.It's all good.Will I sell shell to Bill again,of course.Bill is a passionate turtle keeper with a keen eye for endangered Asians.

Why would Bill post under three different names?My guess is he is pissed about getting burned.But with the circumstances on hand,he knows he got burned,and is 1200 miles away from doing anything about it.

My point is this,if you buy animals from anyone,play by the rules.Dealers-answer your emails and stay in contact with the buyer.Buyers-Check your dealers out,and realize that no dealer should be put in the position of holding animals for months on end.Pay for your purchases and expect prompt shipment.
 
justin, i have left messages for ted . He never called me back. Last I talked to him, I told him I needed pics of the box and exact info on what was in the box. UPS would not do anything without at least that. Plus they wanted the box. Police report did you not say the FBI was looking into this. I know I sent all the turtles. What should I think of Ted. After one call he didnot e-mail pics and info and all I got was a nasty e-mail from you. You were not here when I shipped and was not there when he got the box. If any one should be dealing with this it should be him. I feel like I am getting screwed. I know what I sent and got no help from him to go back to UPS. How do I know he did not get them?

Now Andy did I not tell you months ago I was having issues getting a hold of Bill. And you even said you understood what I was going through. I have tried to get a hold of him to talk to him because I want to know what day he wants me to send it overnight so he is home to sign for it. I want him to call me on the phone. How could you take his side after he got caught abusing this forum. Is it because the rumors about you egging bill on are true? I do take ever good care of my animals at home even thought I do try to sell out at shows. So don't say you are a carer and I am not. are you attacking me now because you are still bad that I sold turtles at west plam beach and did not take kindly to you trying to get the promoter to stop me from selling turtles. How many years did you buy turtles from me and how many hundreds of $'s did you spend at my table. You were one of my best customers for at least two years. Now you use bill to get even because I am your competition. If this is true you need to apologize to Bill for making him act like a fool. I would like to talk to you about this call me. And bill call me because even thought you lied many times on this forum, remember my dead mom, I still owe you $200 and want to get it to you so call me and if I am not here leave a number and good time to call you.

ps thank you everone who has called or writen supporting me. Most of the people have told me not to pay any attention to this BOI. Because no one takes it seriously. That is a shame. They feel this way because of stuff like what Bill has done and Andy seems to have done. I still do not want to believe Andy is behind this but I still can not believe what happened in west plam beach. andy we really need to talk this weekend. this forum should be taken seriously. But it won't if this stuff happens.
and last mike we do believe we left a message that we wanted to stop getting crickets every week. think we still have some in freezer. Want them back? Bad joke. Anyway call me next week to settle this. It is a small matter but we were both hard headed when we did talk. I will admit I was hard to get a hold of last winter but I was very sick. I even pulled out of shows because of it. But I am still sorry for any part my lack of communication has added to this with bill and mike.
and justin and ted if ted really did not get the turtles he needs to prove it. Even if he starts to help it is probably too late for UPS. But if there is a fbi report why have they not contacted us.

My issues with you in West Palm were far from personal.I could not do that show when you had the tables,so how do you rate getting in after I took the time and money growing the rest of the shows?Like Deerfield?.It's hard enough to break even when your door count is less than 1,000 people.I was told that I was to be the "TurtleGuy"at the AP Shows.Nothing personal,but terms are terms.I couldn't get my foot in the door until there was an opening.It's not a matter of "selling your turtles better"

As far as Bill puting you on BOI,oh yeah,my idea,BUT IT DID NOT WORK,no mutica,no reeves,no refund.Just denial.You are not above any unwritten rules.If you do not have the cash,shoot Bill an email,we all go though tough times.

You were the one who told me that he has not cashed the check,now be a good reseller and give Bill a refund.Obviously it was lost.

Andy I will call. Why could you not get tables when I was there. I had no problem if you were there. Heck if I would of known you wanted space then, I would of shared mine with you. It is not a money issue with bill it is getting a hold of him. I e-mailed him numberous times to ask why check wasn't cashed and heard nothing. But hopefully this will be gone by the end of week.

i was setup right next to john. he only had the 2 tables for at least 4 tables worth of stuff. i was selling turtles as well. nobody complained about me. in fact, lauren encouraged me to bring my turtles. no mention of a specific turtle dealer. i dont think this was john's problem. as far as illegal wild caught animals i personally heard him turn down sales for such. explaining that it was not worth putting his business at risk. i have never mail ordered anything with john but i have bought and sold him stuff. never had a problem with him. he has helped me any way he can. just my 2 cents worth.

Ted has spent tens of thousands of dollars with both me and Justin.
I ship him thousands and thousands of dollars worth of stuff on open account as does Justin probably does as well.
Ted is an honest guy to the max and I know I can send him hypothetically 50k worht of stuff at once and not worry about not being paid.
If he said there were no spotteds, then there were no spotteds.
The box dimentionally was 10lbs, and billed as such per the label.
The turtles and the box weighed 9lbs.
The spotteds would have minimally increased the total weight to aprox. 15lbs, minimally!!!!
But the actual weight and the billed weight were ten or less.
Ted has been one of my best customers the last few years and his only fault he has is he may say ten days for money and it comes in 12.
I dont know what is going on , or what happened, all I know is if ted says he didnt get them , he didnt.

I talked to him about this and believe every word he says.

I know handfuls of other people that would say the same.

I am not taking sides but if ted says he didnt get them it is true.
The responsibility of the seller is to reimburse the money and work it out with UPS himself.

I know I would have done that. I would have written it off as a loss.

Just wondering if William Werner has received the replacement check which was promised??? So far John told me he would take care of his two year old balance and nothing has happened?
I called once and left a message and I also left a thread with my
phone number and mailing address. No response from John, no big surprise, he has been dodging me for 2 years. You know John, I sent you crickets and trusted you. You were 12 weeks behind when the terms were 30 days. You called me and stopped the automatic shipment and said you would pay your balance in 2-3 weeks. That was November of 2002??? I can't think of any reason why you haven't paid me after two years? Please call me or send me the money you owe me. You owe me $264.00.

He tends to scam people and then disappear for a few months and then come back and do it again. I am in Tampa and he lives not to far from me. All I can say is to show up at his house and confront him. He lives at 11635 Scallop Rd in Port Richey.
