    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Since I cannot find any information on him, I am wondering if he is a good man to do reptile transactions with.
 
Do you have anything other than a name? An email address? What part of OH?
What's he selling/buying/trading?
 
We've dealt with John in the past (he was our customer) and he was a pleasure to deal with.

I live in the Southern part of Ohio.. near Cinci. I am thinking about buying a pair of B.C. Amarali from John.

And yes... I actually just read the long post about the IBD scare. Any information on his current collection's status? I will have to give him a call tomorrow to discuss this.
 
I just purchased an animal from John a few months ago and was very pleased
with it. We had some shipping problems involving Fed Ex and John went out of his way to make sure the animal got delivered safely. I would have no reservations about dealing with him again.

Thanks re: southern OH. The only reason I asked was because I didn't recognize Crickmer's name right off the bat, and there's a scammer using multiple ID's & "company" names from the Dayton area. Now I remember though, John Crickmer is from Austin, TX I believe.
I personally have not dealt with him, so I can't attest.
 
As far as I know, John Crickmer is an upstanding person. We've conversed a few times, and though I've never had the opportunity to purchase from him, I likely wouldn't hesitate based on the conversations we've had.
 
I used to live a block from John and am familiar with his passion for boas.

He has vended at my expos and has some awesome animals.

I would not hesitate to buy from John.
 
I have done shows with John..Always has great looking animals with tons of good information. He is a good guy..
