    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

John Moore (MooreSnakes) BAD GUY

James, if this guy is as unstable as you make him out to be, does it really make much sense to "poke the bear"? I can maybe understand your first post, but continued "jabs" and snide remarks regarding his intelligence, or lack there of, seem excessive and you are asking for trouble. He may have forgotten about the whole incident after it happened, but by bringing it up here and taking verbal shots at him, you can bet he sure hasn't forgotten it now......
 
This guy from mooresnakes is not something to be lightly dismissed but take heed to what Jim said. This is and will continue to be well documented. IF anything were to happen to James or one of his friends I suspect the police would be VERY interested in finding this guy to ask him some questions.

Of course, James has friends too. Some of them are probably pretty close and since Ar. is a carry in the open state I bet THEY'RE armed too.

Be sure to file the report. Maybe the threat itself will be enough to violate him. You've got witnesses.

Sam, you are correct. Maybe you missed my post where I said: "Actually, this is a serious situation, and I should not be making remarks like that. I was just very upset over this, and I still am."
I was upset, and I should keep this serious.
 
He was logged in under JCsnakes or something like that. he was reading the thread, and then left.

I thought he was registered as JCsnakes, but that is not him. I don't know what I was thinking, but I was in error.

James, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If nothing else your posting here will cost John Moore a lot of sales if/when people do a check on the BOI.
After having met you at the Anaheim show I can't imagine anyone threatening you like that when all you tried to do was offer helpful information and advice. Aside from filing a police report, which is a must IMHO, I'd request the show promoter not allow this loser to sell at any of his shows and possibly even have John banned from attending them if violence is a possible outcome.
If Shane Kinney has explained the genetics to John three times, and he still passed off normal 66% hets to be something more than what they actually were, then people should be made aware he's an out and out thief.
I think he has a lot of nerve to say YOU don't know anything about boas when in reality HE is the person that doesn't have a clue, or does he? I don't blame you for being upset with what happened. Nobody should be subjected to that kind of crap. It's totally uncalled for and couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Sorry you stepped into it.
 
Thanks Greg. I really appreciate the thoughts. I definitely did step into something... I would not change a thing though. I am glad that I was able to prevent Tom from loosing his GTP and acquiring those two Boas. My mistake was trying to explain it to him, but I know how he is and I really did not want to be on his list (he does do some bad things to those that cross him). Now, I just do not care. Well I guess I do, but I refuse to be bullied into getting something that is misrepresented.

Not to mention standing by and watching my friend get taken advantage of. I wish He would have asked my thoughts in privite, but he really had no way of knowing about the guy, as I never really filled him in on any of the stuff that I knew about him. It was not Tom's fault. He had no way of knowing that the guy would freak out on me. I think Tom is still in shock over it.

Just incase make sure a report is filed. Greg hit the nail on the head. This will cost him a lot more down the road.

James, I talked to a good friend of mine last night who know the promoter and game and fish in your area, trust me none of this will be taken lightly. Those that know you have got your back, and even a few that don't know you ;o)
 
You have 2 options as I see it

Shoot him before he gets to you, or carry a taser, and shoot him before he gets you, go for the....well you know. Thank goodness for the concealed carry law in Ohio!
 
I do not think that will be necessary. There almost always other options. That being said, I intend to protect my wife, my home and myself with whatever reasonable force any given situation may require.

I agree you need to protect your wife and home. I honestly dont think anything is going to come of it. As big of a guy as he is, i dont think he's stupid ENOUGH to risk going back to jail over an argument about boa genetics.

The statement earlier about him probably passing off those boa's and forgetting about you probably does hold true to a point. He most likely didnt forget how ticked you had him, but he probably let it go. Probably laughing at you "Ha shows that idiot!" lol We all know who the REAL idiot is.. So just leave it be, and leave the bat by the door. If he does show up, show him why you were home-run king of your little league LMAO

Actually, he did what he did because he cannot seem to forget about me. It has come to my attention that he feels that I have been stepping on his toes or moving in on his turf if you will. He has a friend that whosales to him, and this same friend on rare occasions throws a deal my way as well. Apparently, John has been stewing over that, and waiting for an opportunity to act on it.

I know people, that sell reptiles in the local papers, who have recieved very angry phone calls from John complaining that they are selling reptiles for prices that are too low, and it is my understanding he has apparently gone so far as to threaten them as well.
 
What a bunch of BS. Nobody, and I mean nobody is ever going to stand in front of me and threaten my life. I do understand that based upon someone's size you might have been intimidated but I would have kindly requested that he step outside for an ass whooping. But, since not everyone is my size, you did the right thing by walking away. However, now is the time to ensure that this pathetic excuse for a cro-magnon is put away. You mentioned he was an ex-felon? If that is the case then I would pursue this to no end. Speak to the police, the lead detective, the police chief whomever. File a restraining order against him and keep your glock handy. If you don't have one shoot me over the address of your nearest FFL holder and I will ship you one of mine for the time being. No matter what, I would not take him lightly and I would pursue this until such time that he is doing the Chain Gain dance again.
