    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy JOHN PERKINS

sorry i dont feel the way you all do....for me, it is about the animals, not the person. sure it makes it nice to have an easy time with a person.i strive to be a pleasant person, john has been a great guy to me. frankly i dont care about all of this, but it just makes me laugh how all of you care so much. i'm not too wrapped up in this internet thing, i grew up at the shows. maybe a lot of haven't, but some reptile people aren't the warmest. i put their personalities right up there with chefs(being involved with the gourmet food business too i know them quite well),most are a--holes, finding a "good guy" here and there. but it never stopped me from buying their animals. i remeber guys telling me they would rather use a snake for fish bait than give it to me for the price i wanted...didn't make me like him too much, but i still bought the snake. what i'm trying to say is, i think everyone is just too sensitive. take a person for who they are, if you like their animals buy them, and if not leave it be. now that i've opened my mouth i know i will be evaluated by ALL...yes capitalized, just like you would the LORD. cause sometimes thats how some of you come off...as the all mighty. you're all saints, and you all know better each other.

Since this was originally my thread that I posted ~ every time someone posts something I get an email notifying me so. So please stop. I based my opinion of John from my personal experience ~ if someone disagrees with me please do so on another thread.

At this point I am thinking you are one of his relatives or somthing...Sorry but if I am gonna have a transaction with someone,its not gonna be with someone who is an a hole...They are the first ones that deny problems with and animal,and are the more likely ones to not know what they are doing..Basically in my experience,the guys with the attitudes are the ones who dont know crap about herps and are just in it for the money...I dont understand your theory at all..There is alot of goodguys out there..Why would I go to someone like John for a herp??..There is nothing anyone has that I want so bad that I will put up with an attitude to get it..There are plenty of nice people on here who have qaulity animals...

I may never encounter that ass of a chef at my favorite restaurant...but I guarantee you that if I sent back an obviously undercooked meal and he came out and cursed at me in public, I would NEVER visit that restaurant again, no matter how good the food was.

There are certainly abrasive personalities out there who are as honest as the day is long...and I would probably do business with them anyhow...because I TRUST that they will deal honestly with me, even if they are a bit crusty with their social skills. But what John has displayed right here in public does NOT engender that kind of trust. He comes across not as a socially awkward kind of guy, but as someone who would gladly curse out a customer regardless of whether or not he was at fault in the first place.

There are enough AWESOME people in this business that I can choose not to deal with someone who has blatantly portrayed themselves as an immature jerk.

Nope, doesn't work like that. I brought this to all his (john)/her (shelby) threads as it clearly reflects their actions. Maybe if they could get along with the rest of us things would be different. Apparently they act differently under different circumstances so all of their behaviors belong in this thread to shown them as a whole.

My boy John gave me a positive trader rating and I would do business with him anytime of the day, tactis a little off, but a good honest person in my book, reguardless of what anyone says.

Maybe after some time your "boy" will grow up and become a man.

An honest person wouldn't leave negative trader ratings for people who he didn't do business with and then lie about thinking it was karma. Seems he knew he was leaving you trader rating.

An honest person wouldn't bypass a ban to a site they obviously have such a dislike for.

Apparently your book needs some proofreading for accuracy (and spell checked) before being published. Unless you were intentionally writing fiction.

HONEST??

He's never done business with me, yet gave me a bad trader rating..how is that honest?

In my book, if you can be dishonest in one thing, you can be dishonest in other things..not worth the risk (that's me being negative).:rofl:
