First, let me say thanks to those of you that emailed me about this post and those that have posted a reply.
Kel seems to have a real problem with his reading and comprehension skills as well as his ability to communicate with people via email.
He replied to an ad on KS and about 6 emails later it was finally clear that he wanted the snake and wanted me to hold it for him. Done, no issue.
Then it took Kel about 2 days to actually send the payment via PayPal. No real explanation as to what the problem was but he was like Bart Simpson, "did you get the payment" over and over again but there was no email from PayPal. When the PayPal notice was received I immediately confirmed that I got the payment. Then it was like Bart Simpson all over again. When was I going to ship. I informed him of my Terms of Service that clearly state in my ad that we ship after payment clears our bank. He immediately replied that I was screwing him, etc.
I responded to the accusation that there was no issue and told him to come here to the BOI and look me up using "John Quinones", "John Q", or "
[email protected]". I explained to him that while I don't always agree with some sellers TOS, such as shipping via DHL/Airborne, my option is to take my business somewhere else. He was welcome to do the same. Especially since his PayPal account is not verified. PayPal offered no guarantee because of this. Kel responsed that my TOS were not in my ad. I immediately replied and included a copy of the ad and pointed out that it clearly states "We ship when payment has cleared our bank".
Once the payment cleared, last Friday, I acknowledged that it had cleared. Over this last weekend I sent him an email confirming shipping on Monday. Again I get a negative response like he didn't even understand that I was shipping on Monday. When I got home from work last night, Monday, I had another nasty gram from him bitching about my customer service. Most of my customers have no problem with my communication skills and prompt replies. Nor do they have a problem with the fact that I have a day job, long commute and send out emails in the evening. I again responded and told him to quit being a fuc..ng douche bag and to not tell me how to run my online sales. I confirmed that the snake shipped and would be delivered on Tuesday. If you notice the date of his post it is the 17th and he says he doesn't even know if I shipped. Total lie, more of his BS. In the last email I sent to him I said I would have a tracking number first thing in the morning, Tuesday morning. I did not have that due to circumstances beyond my control. I did not get that information until late this afternoon. By that time this was already posted. Kel had already received the snake and now was on to bitching about the snake.
The snake has been my backup breeder for the last 2 seasons, '07 and '08. He is a surplus hypo male from my line bred hypo bloodreds. Kel received 2 pics that I took just for him, full resolution, and with the snake in a sterilite box for size reference. I explained to him that he was thin from a longer cooling, 90 days. Also, it just wasn't that cold in So. Cal in December so he lost a little weight. No issue as he is a good feeder on frozen thawed. I fed him twice last week and he passed both meals prior to shipping. If anyone wants that email all you have to do is email me at

After receiving another email today bitching at me again, I offered him a refund. He has no complaint about color or weight, just size. The males in this line rarely exceed 36 - 40 inches. This male is at least that length.

"so im just wondering if you sent the snake yet. because you havent been talking so i have no idea whats going on. I know you work and everything but you should really do a better job on keeping up with your e-mails if you wanted to sell snakes."
"and you have bad customer service.you should had the tracking order they give it to when you ship your animals dumb ass. i got my snake no thanks to you. its not a breeding age yet so you lied there. im not going to do business with you your a ass hole. good bye"

Im not going to ask for a refund i wanted this long and i need that snake. If i have to wait longer so be it. Im sorry if i come across an ass but your policey is new to me."
Here's my ad that was placed on KS and sent to Kel.
"Just coming out of cooling. I have a few surplus hatchlings, yearlings, and adult male from my Hypo projects.
A few of these are from my hypo bloodred project and are what would be called hypo het for bloodred. These will mature into a hyper red hypo. Some will have the distinct block/cube pattern that is especially well defined in my line.

I've spent enough time on this and I think that if anyone bothers to read through all this they will see what really happened, what was said, and where the problem lies.
Kel, you are a Tool and a douche bag and you do not deserve my time BUT you are a customer. Any of my customers that are not happy with their snake can ask for a refund. I offered you a refund twice and you declined. So here it is again. You have 24 hrs to send me an email requesting a refund. At that time I will give you shipping instructions. Once I receive the snake in good health I will issue a refund for the full amount, all $100.
