Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy John Quinones, not a good guy

John, you're no bad guy. That I've seen in my dealings with you, you've been nothing but patient and understanding.

I ordered some black pastels from John about the same time all of this went down,he emailed me and said that the shipping company had had problems or something and that he was not going to be able to provide me with the tracking numbers. I have done business with John for years and have never had anything but awesome experiences. He is one of the finest! The black pastels arrived as scheduled and are awesome!! My internet has been down or I would have posted this sooner!!! Thanx John and sorry to see you getting drug through this mess!!:thumbsup:
 
What a shame!

John Q is a "Good Guy" in my book. I've already posted my positive feedback in one of his Good Guy threads. I purchased a 1. Axanthic BP from John on a payment plan and had a flawless transaction.
It's a shame that there is now a "not a good guy" thread about John Q now but I am sure that anybody he would even want to deal with can see right through it.

people really should know what thye are on about before going off on one and jumping the gun. not all male corns end up as 5 foot monsters, out male multi-het bloodred (serpenco) is an '05 and probably only 3.5-4ft.


All I see here is a customer complaining that a seller wanted to wait until he'd actually got the cash before shipping, then (when the snake arived and he realised he wasn't being scammed) changes tack to "not as described". Yeah right.

Looks like a flawless transaction to me (from the POV of sellers conduct). I'd say the only problem here lies with the buyer.

Learn to read adverts properly. Leanr enough about the species you're buying to realise that "proven breeder" does not necessarily mean "full sized, fully grown adult" especially where males are concerned.

I have never dealt with either party, but after reading what was presented by both of them, John comes across as a patient and reasonable professional. I place no weight on the ramblings of a 12 year old.
 
John Quniones is a great guy!

This thread is ridiculous! John is a totally upstanding good guy who totally backs his lines of snakes. I just spoke to him for over an hour tonight while he kindly explained the genetics of his hypo het bloodred lines. He could not have been nicer or more clear about the origins and breeding of his lines.
His prices are more than fair, he is a kind, intelligent man to talk to, and his shipping is totally resonable. The pictures he sent me of his snakes were practically works of art--the best I've ever seen for an online puchase. He is very proud of his breeding practices, as well he should be--he has a line of stunners.
I can't wait to receive my snakes from John!

There are many good guy threads for John. I would think one would rather use one of them for posting a positive experience and let this one sink. Just my opinion.
