In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I had the pleasure of buying 2.2 cornsnakes & 1.0 sinaloan milksnake from John Schmitt of Suncoast Herpetological a few weeks ago at the Daytona Reptile Expo.

This is not the first time we've bought from John, I had the pleasure of buying 2.1 cornsnakes from him in 2010 at the Tampa Repticon.

All in all, John is a GREAT guy to deal with! You can definitely tell he's in this for the love of the hobby and the animals. On both occasions, John took the time to talk to my husband & I about everything that has to do with corns, from simple husbandry to genetics, and even about the hobby in general.

He even took the time to help us pick out appropriately sized feeders for the baby corns, and gave us some advice on feeding.

John is an awesome guy to talk to, and his animals are of excellent quality, they really speak for themselves.

I would not hesitate at all to recommend John to anyone looking for colubrids, and he will always be the first person I go to when looking for an animal to add to my collection. I honestly can't say enough good things about John, his animals, or the way he runs his business.

Thanks again John! It was a pleasure talking to you at Daytona, & we can't wait to see you again at the next expo!

I second that!!

I have been buying animals from John since 2004, and let me tell you, all animals I have purchased from him were the highest quality of specimens for that particular kind of snake or morph of snake.

Flawless animals!

He also is very knowledgable, and is always more than happy to share his expertise.

I have yet to BUY anything from Suncoast, but every show I stop at his table. He's one of the few people that ALWAYS is ready to talk about his animals, or my animals, or in general animals. He'll give advice, listen to stories, and in general just is an all-around awesome person. Too many tables at shows are just "If you want to buy, we'll take the money" but not any real enthusism for the hobby being shown. That's never been the case at a Suncoast table.

ran into John at the repticon event today in Orlando and he was wonderful. great guy!

I can attest to this! I probably spent about an hour talking to John at repticon Orlando today [ read: Wasting John's time  ] & I'm always amazed by what a great guy he is!

As I've said before, I will always go to John for colubrids first.
