Ok Lauren's Lizards (Lauren Summey) happens to be a good friend of mine that I met from selling reptiles to. That doesn't mean she lives here, so yes she would need pics. However she does visit quite often. She decided not to use this site because of how many rude people are on here. She happened to be in town and I asked her if she could vouch for me.



As far as [email protected] (Jessica Humphrey) and [email protected] (Michelle Johnston) that is my "ex" wife and step daughter. They set one up because they were going to sell the bearded dragon. Since I will no longer be in the house my ex does not want any reptiles in there. She then decided it was to much work to post it so that is why I listed it.



Last but not least [email protected] (Jackie) is a good friend of ours who taught me a lot about breeding. She has also sold a lot of stuff we did breeder loans on. Uh oh she also lives in Ohio 30min away and is over here on my computer A LOT!!! lol She is the one that told me to use Fauna because it is a good site, but also said there were a lot of jerks on here. Gosh didn't know there were THIS MANY.



I guess I will have to have my other customers post up their opinions/dealings with me. Oh yeah and feel free to check their IP address which I'm sure you will.

I've gotta say that it looks like John simply got caught up in a small lie rather than saying " I don't have references ", and it's just snow balled from there.

Who's to say if he's honest or not. I'd hate to outright call somebody a scam, but I'd personally only conduct business in person with somebody who's been caught lying, fibbing, or what ever you want to call it. That way I know exactly what I'm getting, and when.

Well, I'm new here. This is my first experience on Fauna and very first purchase from John Turl. I was acquiring a few fat tails and a friend told me about the thread here he had posted. I hope it's not "death by association" on this forum. I'm very new to posting in forums and can do without the "drama."

I'm computer inept and it's all I can manage to get back to some site twice in a row!

Eventually, I hope to list a few of my fat tails, Leos and Beardies here. I certainly do not need any "black marks" before I ever even offer an animal.

All I can do is state my personal experience. I ordered - they arrived. All are fine. It wasn't until after I posted my "review of the order" that these negative threads appeared at the bottom and this is the first I have seen/read of them.

No death by association here Linda. I'm actually very happy that you had a good transaction with John, and I hope he continues to do good business.

I actually don't think John is a bad guy, I just feel extremely insecure doing business with somebody who lost my trust early by not telling the truth.

From the pics on his ads he's got some EXTREMELY nice looking animals at great prices. I just can't afford the possibility that I'd have been out $2000 on a deal.

I think it sucks that I may have lost out on possibly great animals, and hope Johns sales go well, but in this business where there are SO MANY scams going around one simple untruth goes a LONG way.

That one was denying I was real or that the purchase was, and asked for email with headers! I have no clue what they wanted (or how to do that) so I just did a c/p of my first letter from John. What that will tell them is beyond me.

I'm sorry he's having this issue, whatever it's all about, but now - I seem to be caught up in it and I certainly can do without that!

Ok I have read all of these post and I think all of you are being a little bit childish! I asked a buyer for feedback and then they have to be put through all of this??? That's probably why nobody wants to leave feedback!

So let me clear a few things up...

This is in regards to dturner100 post "I'm pretty sure it wasn't made out to him. He requested that I send it to his wife. Considering it was a "Divorce sale" is the first thing that made me uncomfortable." Why would I tell you to send it to my ex??? You wanted to do paypal and I told you like I have told all of my buyers I DO NOT accept paypal because it is in my ex wife's name and I would probably never see the funds. Yes Linda and all of my other buyers sent money orders and made it out in my name.

As for all of you who doubt that she is legit or if it is just me making a good thread about myself like you thought before, here are all of our emails from beginning to end that I could find. Since nobody would like to show her how to do it. She can also post all of our emails from beginning to end from her computer if someone will take the time to show her how to do it. I hid our contact information so it will not be posted for everyone to see.

Wow~! You have some bad karma to over-come on Fauna~! After I posted my recommendation, it loaded up associated bad threads and I read them. Had I them I seen those before I ordered, I wouldn't have ordered, so good thing I didn't!

You need to get that mess taken care of and get some good recommendations behind you, John.

You need some repeat business big time!

What else do you sell? From reading your add for the fat tails, I assumed these were just family pets, not that your had multiple reptiles you were breeding.

Oh he has an excellent appetite. One thing you might want to try is frozen thawed mice pinkies, they all LOVE them. Some will snatch them out of you hand if you dangle it in front of them and some you can hold in your hand and put the pinky up to the corner of their mouth and they will take it from you.

In the subject you can put my name John Turl, the prefix you choose which you want to put, and you decide what you want to write in the description and then just follow the steps to post it.

I haven't gotten you the shipping info because I haven't shipped the box yet, I do not ship until the last minute before I go to work. If I dropped them off in the morning then they would be in the box longer than needed. I will also not be using a heat pack as It is in the 80's here and I do not want them to over heat as they will be in the box here longer than they will be in route to you in the morning. I would rather them be a little on the cool side for a short time then be overheated for many hours.

I am getting ready to head to drop them off now and then I will be headed to work. I do not know if I will have access to the computer anymore tonight so I will try my best to get you the tracking number but I may not be able to since I will be working all night. I am requesting the package be signed for so they will have to bring it to your door.

I do not like to ship later than Wednesdays either but I was just trying to get them to you as soon as possible because I know you really want them. Since you do not like the idea of something happening either lets just wait until next week then, so if something was to happen they will not be sitting in a box all weekend. Thursday overnight for Fri. sounds fine. I'm SO anxious to get them! I never ship later than Wed. in case of hold ups. It's not good if an animal gets stuck over the weekend somewhere.

My last shipment from Wash. state was shipped on Mon. but there were mechanical problems with a plane and the poor things didn't get here OVERNIGHT until Friday. They were badly dehydrated and very, very cold. One almost didn't make it. She cost me a vet visit. Grrrr!

The shipper got a full refund from the carrier and she returned my shipping to me to use towards the vet bill. We were both just happy the animal recovered fully.

So, let's hope the plane's have been well serviced and all is well. lol

She is not the only one on fauna that has received a reptile from me several people have. I have asked each and everyone to leave a feedback on how the experience was with me whether good or bad. But nobody seems to wanna leave a feedback unless it is something bad. I will include another email from beginning to end with another one of my buyers who received a bearded dragon from me, which I'm sure a lot of you remember the dragon as there were MANY inquiries about her. This buyer was very pleased (as you can read in the emails below) with her and I have asked him to leave a feedback but he never did, why dunno. The reason I am posting our emails/dealings is because as you can see there are tracking numbers included, he also signed for the package. One from where he sent me a money order (fill out to John Turl) and the other tracking number is when the bearded got ship to him. He is also a member on fauna and I'm sure you can and will contact him to find out if this dealing is legit. Also you can check his IP address which once again I'm sure you will.

All of that aside my actions speak louder than words and everyone has received their animals, if not then you would have def. heard about that!

I also said anyone is more than welcome to come and pick their animal(s) up in person... what "scammer" would allow that? You cant scam someone face to face now can you???
