I mentioned the "hot or not" posts simply to supply that I AM real, and I DO have photos on the NET, which CAN be traced back for YEARS, if need be (it has nothing to DO with how hot you are - thus the "or not" part). I feel as though I have been under "attack" since I JOINED this forum to post my positive comment about ordering and receiving animals from John Turl. I'm truly SORRY he has these identity issues, but I found, by association, that I suddenly HAD THEM TOO!

I won't post my personal phone number, his phone number, etc. Short of you guys asking for THAT - I have supplied all I CAN to establish I'm a REAL person and not an assumed identity of John Turl.

As for being a legit site for listing business women and, well now I'm saddened that I'm NOT on the site. lol But I am NOT a business.

I work hard here daily. I take the injured. The abused. The unwanted. I take them over and over, as space provides. I see the side of the "reptile world" I wouldn't wish on ANYONE. HAVE you had someone place a lizard in your hands that was DELIBERATELY burned with a cigar? I cry, and wonder what kind of HUMAN can DO that?

I have seen the results of a very sweet buttercup burm BURNED with battery acid, deliberately, as the owner tried to get rid of a pet he couldn't find someone to take! She is minus her tail to her vent - but she lived! And it was EXPENSIVE and time consuming!

What's the SCAREST animal on this planet? WE ARE. Why? Because we think and bore. We don't fight for territory - none is LEFT, and we have "laws." WE have no PREDATOR to control OUR numbers. So, we take our frustrations and mental illnesses out on the helpless and defenseless...

So, I wasn't surprised at my "welcome" here. I have justified it all I can at this point. I have not only provided my daily email in posts on here, but also my site and the email for that listed now. Two email addresses, and still no one has EMAILED ME.

You accuse me here, ask for proof - I give it, and NO ONE bothers to follow up? Uh?

So yes, I feel unrightly "attacked" on this forum. I don't feel this is a grand "welcome to Fauna, Linda."

Had anyONE of you asked in email for my phone number and an immediate call - I'd have done THAT.

Here, to me, it seems? You are GUILTY until proven INNOCENT!

I did nothing more than join, post a review... and just LOOK at this mess!

It has TWO sides, which is why I remained - I have nothing to hide. But I won't be recommending this site to folks I care about. You have to "work too hard" to BE here. You ask much - and give little.

I just arrived here. I've been doing reptiles for over 30 yr. without the help or knowledge of Fauna. So you think I'm going to recommend this site WHY? I want MY contacts or friends to undergo this nonsense?!!

At this point in time, I'm offended. If being offended by Fauna's scrutiny makes ME a bad vote - then log it now.

I pointed out LAST post - you can find and reach me. I'm a female NOT in Ohio. I have references. So, I have to state this "site" fibbed... Whoever it was who said, "No, you are not guilty by assoiation" lied through THEIR TEETH.

I'm done justifying myself here. I'm done with Fauna. I wouldn't post an animal for sale here if was a matter of feeding my child!

Again, a good personal reputation is VITAL. I HAVE THAT and certainly don't need this nonsense. I tried to help out John Turl here, after a good sale, but NOT directly to THIS degree! This is the sort of investment I'd make on a friend's behalf and I do NOT KNOW THIS MAN! Now, it's a matter of defending ME, and I have done NOTHING!

I do not NEED or want to further justify MYSELF on this forum. You have my site, many ways to contact me, etc. I have JUSTIFIED myself here, which shouldn't have been the ISSUE for a bad rating on another member I DO NOT PERSONALLY EVEN KNOW.

I do NOT know, still, what the fook a BIO/BOI is and could CARE LESS!

I have received nothing but doubt and scorn here.

This is NOT a site I will ever visit again, no matter who posts a sale, and I most assuredly will not be recommending it to anyone I know or encounter.

Oh, I am NOT RUNNING from you people! DO NOT TAKE IT TO THERE! IF you contact ME in email, I'll be happy to continue this insanity there. But I'm DONE being ridiculed and an object of public amusement on a site that demands much and gives little!

I got NO warning that he had a bad rating on this forum. Hmmm, after the fact thingie, eh?

Linda, honestly, I think you need to step back away from the computer and breathe. You want to make a good guy post about someone who has had a dark cloud over their name and not be questioned? We arent the gestapo here, we just want to see what we are dealing with. If that doesnt make sense to you, I dont see what will.

You said that you have a website but, you dont know how to post an email with headers? No one put you on trial here. No one has been rude to you either. Do I question whether or not you have some valid points, sure but I question the seller being that he FAKED a positive reputation.

For someone NOT so computer or internet savvy, you found the BOI (which stands for Board Of Inquiry by the way) before and after your purchase with Mr Turl. You even stated that, after reading what was said in the last thread, that you were going to give him a shot anyhow. Dont play the "no one warned me beforehand" card because you posted in his other thread PRIOR to making your purchase.

Now, trust me, we are ALL ecstatic that you personally had an AWESOME transaction with him. Personally, I would not buy from him simply because if he would lie about his reputation, its possible that he would lie about the quality of his animal(s). Your rant simply because you were asked a few questions about him, none were personal if you read it right, goes unwarranted.

No one asked you for your email address, phone number, street address, favorite drink, etc... in this thread. There was one comment about a picture that was a little off the wall but, it wasnt asking you for one.

You say youve been in this business for 30 years and would NOT suggest this site, or the BOI to anyone you like? Seems to me that this goes without saying that you would not care whom you did business, good or bad... scammer or not. And, on top of that, I would legitimately feel bad for one of my friends, local customers, relatives, enemies, et al... had I not mentioned that there was a place that they could look into the seller BEFORE making a purchase with someone and got ripped off. This, apparently, is not you.

I will take your good guy thread with a grain of salt. I see no purpose in continuing this thread, for me. Mr Turl, IMHO would need an army of positive posts from people that I know before I sent him any amount of money I could not afford to flush down a toilet, through the mail. And an FYI, if people do not at least accept PayPal, youd better expect that there is most likely a reason behind it

Linda, the only person that has subjected your name into question is you. You are being so defensive when all that was really asked of you was to post the emails with headers so people who are capable can check the IP address versus the ones he has used. Other then that, I am completely and utterly confused as to why you seem to be taking this so personally. Had you left the thread alone, I am sure no one would have had anything more to say.

WHEN I clicked up John's ad ON THIS FORUM, it gave no "WARNING." I saw no RED FLAGS. So, I contacted the man. It's that simple. I clicked his link, bought the animals and it was DONE (I thought!). Then, he asked for a feedback here, not even a positive one - he just said, as I'm computer inept, "load the link and post whatever you want to say about the purchase."

So, I thought about it and posted my recommendation. THAT SIMPLE. ONCE I hit post - THEN I got the links below that carried me into "warnings" here.

I AM computer intept. But how hard is it to click in a link in your email? That's where EVERY answer I have posted since has COME FROM.

I have ended up in email from that link, to two threads here. I have been accused of being an extension of John's PC, etc. ENOUGH! I have offered up MY web page, MY IM, etc. And nothing from ALL you folks to MY mail or IM! I got asked today for photos, and read a bit about ONE person who dared to oppose you all and say it was UNJUST to ask me for that!

I am slam WORE OUT, with the issues on this matter and this site! It's fine to try to establish a "good guy" link for someone, but it's NOT excusable to take down an unknown as it occurs, when that unknown has provided EVERYTHING asked for, and is STILL doubted, though never even contacted in email!

Yes, I am aware there are TWO threads regarding John Turl. I have read them both from begining to end. I didnt see anyone ask you for his phone number or home address. All I saw was someone mention email headers (which you have yet to provide) and, ridiculously a photo of yourself.

Again, Richmond is a larger city and the person who stated the he only knew of two Linda collins in Richmond was a tad off the wall however, you are using one, and the same example of the person who asked you for the picture. Having a webpage, instant messenger, or sending you an email off of this site shows no proof whatsoever. ANYONE can have a website, email acct, instant messenger. All I saw that was truly asked of you was email headers, which I am sure someone could get when you respond to an email. Then again, its really not someone elses responsibility to do so.

No one has taken you down. Youve only been questioned because of the previous thread regarding Mr Turl. We know youve read it because you posted on it. Put our shoes on your feet. If you established that someone on here has used multiple aliases, conjured up positive reputation from his own IP address and someone with only 2 posts came to your site and see he is an A+ heads up seller, would you simply NOT question the new member and buyer?

This site itself has not insulted you. People using the same site that you are just simply asked you a couple of questions is all. Like I posted before, do I think you are real, sure. Do I know that you arent at John Turls house using his computer, not really. Will your good guy thread about him mean anything to me, not at this time.

As for being a moderator, no, I am not one. I am just another BOI enthusiast that sees the positives regarding it. I post here because I want to post here. I want to help people find solutions to their problems. I want to post good guy threads about people whom I do business with.

As for contacting a moderator, all you have to do is scroll down to the bottom of the main page and look for the names in blue. You will see their names in the moderator box next to all of the members names.

Sorry that you feel this way. Its not so Nazi-ish when you are being protected by the very same people asking you questions. I have saved tons of money in the last two years by using the BOI. I am also relieved that I did not send Mr Turl ANY of the money I have spent in the last 6 mos as well. Could have cost me a small fortune. I also could have ended up with some really nice snakes as well, we will never know.

As for innocent until proven guilty... At what point do you feel that Mr Turl would be found guilty in a court of law? The fact that he conjured up a false positive reputation from his very own computer? Is that enough to question him, or who you are for that matter?

Okay, so we are back to it's about John, but if you follow the two threads, we get to "who the heck are YOU an PROVE IT." So, don't downplay that one so glibbly, please.

YOU are asking asking - "WHO am I?" HOW do I verify this to YOU? Forget John. This brings it, in your own humorous rant here, again to ME.

HOW do I prove ME to YOU. Not to the site, since YOU are not a moderator. But YOU seem to have "clout." So, how about I just do ONE step at a time, and prove to YOU that I am real, and then YOU can vouch for me. Where do we start?

I can do them for every email, but I'll edit my personal chit not pertinent to the buy! Or if I do the form to provide the headers? Will that include EVERYTHING and I can't edit it? IF that is the case? You better get to talking to me a WHOLE lot in email so I know who YOU are before I'll even consider such a thing!

Beyond that? How can I prove I'm in Va., and not Ohio? This point seems crazy to me cause on my page? It tells me what state/country an IP is in. It also shows me the IP address! IF you hit my site tonight (only logs 24 hr.), and you tell me what state (and there aren't others from that state), I can give you the IP addie it logged.

I would assume if you have a page, you can get the same info. for ME.

Oh, and belatedly? "was there any comment anyone made that you didn't take offensively?" No, and if you hadn't been open in your post and offered an avenue for me to AGAIN do the headers, I'd have taken THAT to offensive, also.

ALL these requests and no follow ups. SO, it falls on YOU. Get me to how to do the header posting you want. Get me to proving I'm who I am. EASY, for those who konw how. I CAN follow step by step. I just do not know how to go about that. Failings HERE now fall on YOU. I'm open and WILLING.
