Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ok so I'm working a trade with this guy I found on KS. he wants me to ship first, he gave me references like Bob Clark, Ozzyboids, and Jeremy Stone. well I checked them out, I've not heard back from Jeremy stone, but both Bob Clark and Oz have never heard of this guy and none of their records show any business done with him, and the things he claims to have bought from them are pretty high end..(I.E. a fire ball python from Bob about 3 or 4 years ago) I tell him they have never heard of him and figured he was caught and would stop all communications with me, instead he told me he was going to contact both of them and get it straightened out and asked me for their email addresses and phone numbers, I gave them to him yesterday and told him that when he does get it worked out with them to have THEM contact me about it, and again never expected to hear from him again, he calls me again this morning from his cell while he was at work and told me he called and left them voicemails and was going to email them when he left work. I know all signs point to scam but why would he go to these lengths after being caught if it were a scam? I'm not sending anything until I hear from Oz or Bob saying that there was some strange mistake in both of their systems or he sends first, Im not gonna get scammed but I'm just trying to get into his head and figure out whats going on....
 
Do you have any additional information on this guy like email address shipping address etc?? Might help :thumbsup:
 
I do have both, for now since I can't be sure its a scam I'm going to withhold his shipping address since its also his home address, his email address is [email protected]. hope it helps.

Did he contact you first?

Emails and phone calls can be faked, if you contacted these men on your own and they could not find any info on this person, I would think twice before shipping first.

Now he just needs to be offering Levi multiple $1500 snakes for one ~$700 snake and it would sound very, very familiar.
 
he is in RI, but he says he just moved there, but on KS it says MA/RI so that fits, he is offering me animals worth far more than mine, I figured it was a scam in the first place, and gave me big names thinking I wouldn't check them, but after I told him that they have never heard of him I thought he would "disappear" but he didn't thats what threw me off. Of course I wasn't born yesterday so I never really fell for this deal. If he contacts me again I'll let him know about this thread and tell him to ship first or the deal is off.

Considering you were involved in the first thread regarding Dumas & Pamela; why is it that you even bothered to go as far as you have? Considering you were in the middle of a deal with them when they were first outed I find it hard to believe that you would even consider letting him/them "ship first". Considering all that was found out about these two scumbags in the first threads why wouldn't you post all the info you have. And seriously how is it that you almost get scammed twice by the same people?

well honestly the idea didnt pass into mind until I had been talking to him for a few emails. there was no way I was going to get scammed. maybe I'm stupid for not connecting the dots quicker, I smelled a rat since the beginning so I figured I'd take it as far as I could. But in my defense I didn't deal much with John or Pamela, there were like 3 emails between us and it was supposed to be pamela. again maybe I'm just dumb.

Levi, I didn't mean to infer that you were dumb in my previous post. Sometimes I tend to forget that you can't convey tone and inflection in the written word and that posts may be taken differently than intended when written. I apologize if you were offended by my earlier post.
 
no worries....I wasn't offended...actually the dumb part was on my own reflection...I should have spotted it sooner...but apparently he knows he was caught becuase he hasn't contacted me in a few days, so I'm done with the situation...just beware of John dumas or john williams or whatever he will go by next.
